Kind of a meh move, but not really surprising. Guerin gets someone in the feeder system that understand the systems of the big club. If anything, Evason should be slightly cautious about whoever is grabbed to fill that vacated asst coaching position with the big club, as that WILL BE Guerin's guy. Would be nice if Zuccarello just retired and took at asst coach position. That would keep Zucc in the fold with KK, open up some cap space and allow Guerin to get someone a little younger to play on that line with KK and Rossi.

I did not know that there was a dislike of Army down in Iowa. That is complete news to me. Not that I have a direct line to everything Wild, but I have generally paid close attention to the Wild and the Baby Wild. I thought there was actually a lot of love and praise for Tim Army. Maybe this is completely tied to Rossi lack of success in the NHL. But I blame that more on the coaches with the big club over the coaching from Iowa. In Iowa, it seemed like we has put in the top spots. Whereas, with Evason, he was never given much of a chance with either of the top 2 lines.
