It was great timing, and makes a great story and all, But (imo, of course) papa Tkachuk’s comments are highly overrated as to any effect they had on the Panthers.

Game 2 winner was so pretty, one of those plays when you know the puck is about to go in. “Oh, there it is!!!” Halfway out of your seat and arms starting to raise as the puck gets to Rhino.

I kind of thought that PoMo's tirade was pretty much ignored. Watching the clip, it doesn't seem like the players are paying any attention. However, I thought Keith T's comments might have been the spark. I thought the team might be embarrassed getting called out like that, but worse, were letting down Matthew after he made a bold commitment to SoFla for 8 years. He expected to join a contender and got an out-of-the-playoffs pretender to that point.

Chucky and Bob are carrying this team across the line and we're finally seeing the Barkov we all knew was under there somewhere.

Tonight, no mercy; go for the jugular; put 'em away early.

A good team effort again tonight. Bob is almost unbeatable right now. He's been like that since the Boston series. I don't think Florida has really outplayed their opposition in any of the 3 series, but they trust in their goaltender and seem to be in a sync that's unbreakable. It doesn't matter how you won them, it's just that you won. Never critique a win.

Superstitions are out of control. Other than the Toronto series game 3 when me and the wife flew down to attend, we have had the exact same ritual for every game. We drive down to the corner store and park in the same spot and buy the same bag of chips and come home put on the same exact outfit and sit on the same spot on the couch.

Oddly enough the only game that we couldnt do this the wife had to work afternoons and that happened to be the last game we lost....
