pretty sure the owners are happy as long as they're getting their share, I don't think the decision will come from them.

The big question if the Yotes go to Quebec is which Eastern team goes out West. The only real possibilities are Detroit, Columbus or Toronto and I can’t see any of those franchises being happy with that.

Sadly, unless a team in the East ends up relocating, I just don’t see Quebec getting another NHL franchise. Best bet is that the Coyotes move to Houston or KC. Dark horse would be Salt Lake City.

They will stay in Arizona for at least a few more years, mostly because they do not want to waste a market that could bring in mega money with any future potential expansion plans (enough teams already, but money talks).

I do not see a team back in Quebec unless there are 2 more expansion teams come and the move of the Arizona franchise.

I think the decision of having a team there had to do with TV deals or whatever, but still, in the end it just makes the league look silly. teams in the LHJMQ have better facilities and attendances for (frank)'s sake.

I'd be surprised if they do something for the 2023-24 season, but who knows.

Maybe they have something up their sleeves and plan for the no vote.
