I love hockey and started playing at 6. It's the only sport I really care about. That said, what Pietrangelo did is why hockey will never be a mainstream sport in the USA. Crazy, uncalled for, undisciplined, etc. He should be suspended for the remainder of the series, at minimum.

Imagine if an MLB player took his bat and hit someone with it. He'd be gone for the season, maybe longer. The NHL really needs to get the bullsh!t out of the game.

If he broke his wrist its most likely game over for Edmonton. Suspend him for the rest of the series.

One is a clerical suspension and the other a blatant attempt to injure a player. They should not offset. When you try to injure that is more offensive than a clerical judgement Sorry Not the same Like comparing a misdemeanor to a felony Just not the same

Just solidifies your Hockey knowledge lil' champ. A slash like that could have put Drai out for the series or longer that was the intent. Deserves a suspension for sure.
