nice to see they didn't just lay down like previous years. good push back physically as well.

York had his bell rung. hopefully he's not concussed.

Understand why ND was tossed, but surprised we didn't get an extra PP from that.

Giroux. well, we witnessed it for years. wish him the best. almost at 1,000 points.

can't wait for hayes to move on. having a career year but just seems disinterested.

talking about brassard injuries.....looked bad, high ankle?

How strange to see somebody challenge a guy who's just been in a fight.

Tanner L., while it was a small sample size before, just seems to be fighting it. the injurie have taken its toll. wonder if a good summer can help, or maybe he's just pressing too much. but the last couple games he has played just doesn't look like an nhl player the way he did at first.

he did a little but it was how many strides he took to deliver the hit, could have been a charge, York needed to be more aware also

can't argue with this, assume he is one Torts will say goodbye to, if true, Torts should give him the rest of the season to work it out.

good on the kids not giving up. I had a game so I only watched the 1st, just watched the highlights, all kids. Did Hayes and JVR even play much?

I do like RR on the PP point, heavy shot and they rotate it well to give him a good look at the net

Loved the game. Great atmosphere in the building.

Over the years, some of the very best games (atmosphere) have been between the Sens and Flyers. Lindros was always a beast playing in Ottawa. I am not very sophisticated, I like physical hockey and I cannot lie, I love the fights, I can get really pumped when the gloves come off.

Loved to see the Sens going into the penalty box to congratulate DeBrincat on his fight. On the other hand, I think the fighting motivated and pumped the Flyers back into the game.

The Sens have had a great year. The kids have been really good. Hate to see this season coming to an end. But games like last night already get me pumped for next year.

I've been watching or reading about the Flyers since '67.
This game is what occurs when the Bell Curve dominates. Way out there in Sigma Significance territory.
Eleven shots and four scores, WHOA!
Tying a game when outshot by a 4 to 1 ratio, WHOA!

What was most perceptible to me was that they were not as quick as they have been in this streak. Travel weariness and G's vengeance were too much.
The officials were poop orifices. ND should have been allowed back after serving his majors. He was attacked and responded to the second AH.
What else should he have done? The 'crew' missed several calls that for them that may have shifted the game and saw every error the Flyers made. They were terrible in game managment since they allowed that attack while ND was leaving in their custody.
I think they knew that they had blown that moment apart and were embarrassed.
Funny that.

Yes, Hayes had several bad turnovers .. good he did it as Torts and Briere are watching from above. Hayes is definitely gone this off-season one way or the other.

Bill, was that the right call on ND? Even if they rationalize it and say they wanted to get control of the game, how the hell do they not give an extra to the Sens, I mean he stalked ND and broke the NHL fight code

just a thought

we can all root for the Flyers to win again, the teams below them are to far below and the teams above are playing for something and should win, WE PICK 7 EITHER WAY...

Not Bill but I don't think it was the right call. What I think the officials were doing was trying to get a hold of the game that they thought might be a powder keg. It was physical and getting more physical. So to try and control it, they eject the neanderthal and Kastelic.

HAYES

We need the Bruins to collapse in the playoffs, that would send Bergy to retire. That hopefully would send Krejci back overseas, leaving a big whole at center, then there is an outside shot at Hayes going there

Trade Laughton and Provy and Seeler as a sweetener . Pray LHV makes a run, the value of the players rise, I would have no issue packaging Zamula, Brink, Attard, Desnoyers, Ginning or even Andrae in the right deal.

Even if both of those players leave. I would be completely shocked if the Bruins brought in Hayes.

Not sure why ND was thrown out. He was attacked by a sissy. I mean, the guy just had a fight and he is tired, so now you jump bad with him. Glad that the games are still entertaining. I know they were badly out played by a team fighting for their playoff lives, but they didn't give up. Sandstrom played well, but that one bad goal syndrome snuck up and got him at the end again. It's time to fumigate the locker room from guys like Hayes. You don't want him anywhere near these kids as they progress. And to think that there were people that actually wanted this clown to be captain.
