Did not see much of this game because of company and ESPN+ not wanting to load up on my computer. But got to see the last few minutes and Wally's beauty!
Awww, a W! Way to go team! Ned getting the W has got to help his job search!
It was an exciting game in stretches that, fortunately, didn't end up in goals against. Wings were hemmed in their zone several times 5v5 that looked as if the Canes had a power play. Really glad for the win but feel they got very lucky last night. LGRW!
Kasper was recalled and is reportedly joining the team in WPG. Any predictions on if he'll play? - bluelineenforcer
I’d heard about the recall, but haven’t heard any definite info on ice time. I’m sure they want him training with the team (probably Larkin like they did with Seider) at season’s end and through the summer
#1 - Shots through traffic. The commentator comments on Brett burns, and how he gets shots through. I have known for years he gets a ton of SOG. But what he is going is creating fast tricky shots. A commentator suggested Seider watch tape on Brett Burns doing this. I concur! Seider is so awesome with his puck sticky-ness, I think this would really create more traffic and garbage goals. Huge. Wallman did this in the end, and it is the game winner.
#2 - Ned is not done. He plays better when he isn’t so feisty. He seemed like he tore a page out of Husso’s book. I hate to see him break his stick and get so reactive. He goes downhill fast in those scenarios. You can see it in his body language. Very impressed with his composure against the Canes. Result? A win.
# 3. - Chaisson needs a contract. Love his movement around the crease. Just having him around to teach the kids next year this skill is worth his weight in gold. I feel the same on Perron. He brings a Glue element, and is a talented specialist. I’d love to see Raymond learn how he works the half wall.
Listen, I’ve been discouraged too. However, I see some light at the end of the tunnel.
