The defence SHOULD be sound and better. We have the players. I still see the failure more as how they are played and the structure. That falls on the Hak. Francis did a hell of a job retooling the roster, but I think it is going to be time to get a real coach in.
Plus the usual goaltending woes going on there. Jones playing all the time seemed to be fine. Both times Gru came in and played more, Jones went cold fish. Neither has really shown they are going to be the go to guy.
Enjoy the ride, get into the post season, build from there. Been a great second season though to date. Rest is just cherry on top at this point.
Four different goal scorers again and Jones has a very solid game and gave us the tending we needed there. Honestly if we can get him hot again we should be alright but when he is cold he is awful.
Tough loss and heck of a game vs LA. Need to clean up the turnivers more but good news was back to back strong games by Jones in net. Team will need to bounce right back though. Need a few more wins here down the stretch.
