Pretty happy with the work Holland has done to this point. If he can add to the right side that would be great, but if he's done (what does he have $167 bucks in space or something) I like this team.

Anyone got any news on Evander Kane and when he might be back in the lineup?

I didn’t expect much to happen but here’s what I’m happy about:
1. No (frank)ing Karlsson trade. Too much money and not really what we need, IMO.
2. Rather than a one one dimensional offensive defenceman , I was hoping we would get a veteran player that could move the puck and take care of our own zone. Everything I read says Ekholm is that kinda player. I don’t care about his age at this stage because we need the experience.
3. Rugged veteran centres all always important in the playoffs. I like his size, hopefully he can skate. Kinda wish he had more playoff games to his credit though.
4. Moved Pullijarvi. I like the kid but he isn’t that good and not worth the money. Cut our losses and move on. It’s fine.
5. Moved Barrie. I don’t dislike the player but there’s only room for 1 one dimensional offensive defenceman on a team and we had two. Barrie is better than Bouchard and it’s not the ideal time to experiment with an increased role for Bouchard but it had to happen sometime.

Overall, nothing really negative to say as I didn’t expect much to happen with what little cap space we had. Goaltending is average but there wasnt (frank) all for opportunity to upgrade.
This looks like this will be out team for at least two more years and I hope they aren’t the poopz.

Good pick ups. They’re a better team, even better when Kane and Holloway get back.

Holland will always be known for total failure in Edmonton solely on the signing of Campbell. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s a bad deal for sure. Seems this franchise can’t operate without a stupid contract on the books.

Goaltending is an issue. Campbell had a good 10 game stretch but similar to his time with the Leafs he sputters 2-4 weeks before PO's.

Hopefully Skinner is the real deal. He'll be our #1 going into the playoffs.
