As you said, I like it because it’s a low risk trade for a kid with size and upside. I don’t, however, think he’ll amount to much at the NHL level. As for Ullmark's goal, gotta admit, that was a great shot.

It’s a trade folks will look back on as amazing or they’ll just forget about it. Both those options are fine. Have the Canucks had such a low risk, high reward trade with the potential to be so one-sided since Naslund?

Ullmark’s goal was perfect. He’s having the season of a lifetime and any goalie getting out of Buffalo deserves it. A goal is the cherry on top.

The Canucks better trade Schenn soon or it’s just a waste not having him alongside Hughes. The last two trades with New York were good, but this management group… am surprised they didn’t pick up Kapanen, but maybe they’re waiting so Rutherford can use another first round pick for that privilege. Am still waiting for Jack Johnson to arrive…

I still hate the Bruins. Losing to them sucks. Teams I hate losing to regardless of the situation:

Boston
Colorado
Toronto
Calgary
Edmonton

God, I hate those franchises

They shouldn’t have picked up kapanen. This was a good move. Lockwood wasn’t gonna be much with his size. More skill with Kravsov. Let’s see what happens. Better get some more pics

Toronto, Calgary & Boston for me. Just hate those teams. It especially annoys me that the Leafs tanked and they’ve had a competitive team since. Their fans and media are one of the worst things in the sporting world.

Trade was a decent gamble, but giving up that 7th rounder could end up costing the team, in the 2030 push for a playoff spot.
Always good to see a goalie score a goal, even better, it was a Bruin goalie.
Speaking of the Bruins, the Bruins have 3 of 6 goalies that have been the fastest to 30 wins in a season, what a fantastic organization.

In regards to the trade deadline, I hope to see at least 1 more player moved out, preferably another 3 or 4.

My faith in the management is slowly going up. The fact they waited and said no to trading Hogs then jumped on the cheap deal makes me.....hopeful. Risky I know.

St. Louis traded Barbanov to Vegas for prospect Zach Dean. St. Louis really loading up on youth and high picks.

Absolutely love what Stlouis is doing. They won a freaking cup and aren't afraid to go out with the old and in with the new. Tons of cap space tons of picks. Well run team

Canucks just re-sign players, instead of trying to get better through drafting. More missed opportunities.

I am 100% with you. Those 3 teams I hate well… and Philly. But Philly is not a nucks vs Philly thing… I honestly hope Philadelphia goes 0-82 every year.

Yep 100%.
You have to recycle players, regardless of who they are, when the team cycle is not in Cup contention mode.

Carolina also not afraid to let them go when their prime is past.
