the only reason Stanley should ever get in a game is if he is about to be traded and another team asked to see him live!!

and why for the love of God was it Samberg coming out? he is one of our best D at not allowing shots on our net!! he didnt allow a shot on our net while he was on the ice two games ago....think about that, not one shot on our net for a whole game with samberg on the ice.

this coach needs to be asked point blank, is Samberg the one coming out based on age and not play?

Hey Ross77, I agreed with you earlier in the year about Lowry being a third liner when he was playing like one.

Now are you going to agree with me that he is a fourth liner? Ever since I agreed with you, he has failed to score any goals and has regressed back to his original form. I think it’s something like 30 games now since he potted a goal.

Agree...Unless Samberg is being withheld for trade reasons. I certainly hope not because I see a lot more upside with him.

Montreal should be adding to Edmundson for me to take him. He’s not an NHL player.

Monahan is also a pretty big risk, given that he lives and dies by his shooting percentage. He doesn’t drive okay or defend, so I’m worried about adding another forward who needs to be carried when we have so many as is.

Schenn is a hard pass for me. There’s a reason Vancouver is stirring up so much dust around him, and why they won’t let him play away from Hughes. He’s bad bad.

Bowser interests me, but he’s basically Laine-lite. A risky cap hit to take on right now

Yes, I’d like the jets to add a guy like Henrique to be our third line Center and bump lowry down to 4th

boeser is over rated and not worth that cost. JVR would cost less and help more

I will add though the Lowry Kline was much better with Barron and Gagne and bones has decided to give him a revolving door of 8 and 20 and now even apples is struggling since coming back

IF Meier was willing to extend with the Jets would you part with Perfetti for him?

Hard to say not knowing what the rest of the deal is. But Meier for 7 (or 8) years at $8.5 - sign me up!

Normally I'd say yes if he was the only asset the Jets part with. That being said my guess is that you will see Perfetti develop over the next 2-3 years into a very similar player to Timo Meier. Therefore from a win now perspective it makes sense but from a longer-term cap space perspective over the next 4 years or so it does not.

Yea, as I previously said, depends on deal - one-for-one, etc.

My thought is that you would have a top notch player locked up for 7-8 years, while there is no guarantee Perfetti will even be here after about five years, even if he stays healthy, which seems questionable right now.

That's why I say, 1-for-1, on reasonable deal, Meier is a Jet!

AJF recalled, 3 goals & 1 assist in 3 Moose games. Also had a shootout goal.

Grahamzky will be happy! 👍

He does bring energy, no doubt!

Even with those low shooting percentages, Appleton sure stands out in a bad way. If AJF gained some scoring confidence with the Moose, he's a better fit on the 3rd line.

It does make one wonder what these guys do in practices. Do they just practice defending against the Top 6 ?

You're 100% correct.

Question is will they play him or go with the veteran Gagner, or Kulman? Wouldn't surprise me! Lowry plays better when with AJF IMO.

100%. If Meier is able to rekindle his chemistry with Ehlers, it would be a great move. Not only would you be getting Meier but would also be improving an internal asset in Ehlers.

Its good Wheeler is in the box, he is the worst player on the ice. Won't shoot the puck, can't hang on to the puck, should be on the 4th line.
