After that cold spell, doggie did not want to come back in from his walk.

My guy loves the snow and the cold. As soon as we get to the front lawn he’s rolling in the snow or ice, then on his back with his paws in the air and after a while he rolls onto his side and just lies there. It looks like I’m taking a dead dog for a walk.

Lots of fun standing when it’s really cold and the wind comes whipping down. He’s two weeks from an operation where he won’t be able to walk for a while so I’m spoiling him. (I spoil him anyway.j

He did the other knee exactly a year ago so I know what’s coming. For two weeks it’s the backyard or the floor, so backyard. But yeah, it’s normally walks. I’ll need to rig up a towel to support him getting back there. Will cut a hole in a pair of boxers for his tail that he can wear so his doesn’t lick the incision (he freaks out with a cone).

I’m cool with Larkin. Just get the best guy available. Larkin, Meier, Konecny, maybe Tarasenko. I’m less excited by ROR. I don’t claim to be an expert on all these guys but I do want a big move. Maybe trade for Meier and see what happens in the summer. I dunno.

I member travelling all over Ontario for minor hockey playoffs as a youngster. Effin loved it. And some of the rinks we played in…literally barns. It was snowing inside the rink in Blythe.

My folks kept a bunch of photos and newspaper clips as our little town mowed through these towns. What an experience to keep with you.

Sounds like BS to me. He's been available since last season, likely a ploy to squeeze a little extra out of a more serious buyer.

I could see the interest, I would be skeptical about meeting the asking price on Chychrun. St Louis looks like a seller, while others are concentrating on well worn O'Reilly, Tarasenko might be available - more of a game breaker IMO and possibly cheaper in terms of acquisition cost.
