Thanks Trevor!

I hate the all-star game. I have not watched one in years. As there is no serious NFL this weekend, it could be an opportunity to get American sports fans from nontraditional hockey markets to tune in. Why not have an outdoor game this weekend? Have the best team from the east play the west for $$$. Something.

I am all over bringing in Schenn and Mier. If they are bringing in a scoring winger, you have to think someone from the top nine is out. The only three possibilities I can see are Dube, Mange, and Coleman. With Pelletier coming up, one of Mange or Dube becomes redundant. Both are extremely streaky. Mange also has lost mojo since his injuries last year.

Has anyone looked up Mang's stats before and after his injury last year?

Hard to pinpoint the exact date when he injured his hand. Didn’t miss any time.

Just checking his game logs last season. Noticeable drop after April 21 against Dallas. He’s a hair or two under half a point per game since then — 26 points in 54 games. Prior to that was 55 points in 78.

Thanks Trevor.

I agree. The NHL needs to do what Major League Baseball did and make the game have more meaning.

Watching Johnny and especially Tzachuk perform made me wonder how or why we missed out in signing them long term.

I will take a pass on JVR.

We lost the Tkachuck trade hands down. Chucky is worth more than Hubby, Weegar, Prospect, and a 1st. Flames lack the skill of Johnny now, and Tkachuck's hockey IQ.

I dont think amyone thought we won that trade but given the position the Flames were put in most people felt they made out pretty well.

A huge stretch starting tomorrow with 12 games leading up to the March 3rd deadline.
If we can play ourselves into a good spot by then we have the CAP space and some attractive trade chips to make a run..... if not, I hope the organization can see the light and sell accordingly for once.

How could they have done anything differently with Chucky?
He put a gun to their head and forced the trade!
JG I could give a rats ass about as hes not a winner and thats a fact!

Under normal conditions, Canada is a tough place to play for American players. Toss in the lockdowns and the timing of Tkachuk and JG contracts ending, and that adds a lot more reasons why the two left. I think if the pandemic never happened Calgary would still have Tkachuk.

I really hope that they have been in touch with Coronato and know his intentions. If there is any chance he does not want to play in Calgary, should be traded.

It's always hard to see the signs, but I think they're going to be more careful now, trying to be more proactive. Gaudreau's case was more difficult because we did not receive any assets in return. Right now there is the Kylington case. I think we have to follow Coronato very closely and probably Hanifin too.

WTF was the point of that Dube. Didn't get a punch off and they score on the ensuing pp.

We don’t want Dube fighting Touba.

Time for Lucic to earn his 6 million.

The flames really have no talented players that have speed. The two players with above-average speed in their top 9 are Dube and Mange. Both are grinders, neither is going to turn a defenceman inside out or are known for their snipping abilities.

This is the team's greatest need. A speedy goalscorer that can play with Huberdeau would give him a lot of extra space on the rush as well.

It was impressive to watch NY on the rush last night.

Dube doesn't fight enough for this to be an issue.

The good that sticking up for a teammate, win or lose, does for the overall "spirit" of the team far out weighs a two minute penalty.

Too bad Lucic didn't get a dance with Trouba.

Tzachuk could have and should've been signed long term after his first year.

Unfortunately Treliving missed the glaring leadership and hockey I.Q. that make Tzachuk what he is today.

As far as Johnny goes it would appear some "dirty pool" was played at the end but again a long term contract early on would have prevented that.

Our line 3 is still the best and it's the only one that has 3 good skaters. If we're serious about making the playoffs, Lucic shouldn't play for the rest of the season. Several Wranglers players can replace him.

Simply disgusting comment.

This is a gross injustice to the girl involved and from the Dube perspective ignores the very basis of legal system that a man is...... INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
