Bill, what are your expectations for this trade deadline? If they are still 5 points out come deadline, does that change their approach?

I know you are curious about tanner as you have asked.

Guessing his career is over, but they have been extremely quite or non existent this year in regard to Ellis.

Surprised we did not get any more updates for Cam or Coots recently as well. Or if there was i missed it.

Bill just curious what the health status of Couturier does for the team moving forward.

If there is a question of whether he is healthy/productive next season does that change things? Do you see the team pushing for someone like Larkin?

Torts is the perfect coach if the goal is to eke out as many points as possible with a struggling team lacking talent. Everybody knows their role, assignment and where they should be positionally. Torts can get a team like that to play to potential and even a little beyond.

It's been the same generic "LBI" description since Dec. 7. There have been no updates since.

another great mystery of life injury. Really wish some national media type would do a deep dive into the flyers medical staff and injuries.

According to O’Connors article today it’s an ankle sprain and he’s due back “relatively soon”.

It's been seven weeks. That'd roughly be nearing the timetable of a high-ankle sprain. But he's also had surgeries on both hips (labrum tears) within the past year or so. They'll need to be cautious.

Does the Horvat deal push you to see what Konecny might get you?

He’s our best asset, cost controlled, really good player. They should be taking calls on him regardless of the Horvat deal. Take the calls at the deadline, move him in the summer if nothing comes about in the next month.

Dude, that trade is inspiring Fletch to buy, not sell.

He's probably been bothering Rutherford all day about the price for Tyler Myers and/or JT Miller.

The player that needs to raise his game is Sanheim. 1 point in a 16 game span is not going to cut it.

Not to change the topic.....BUT...I just read this article. It's just amazing that same old thing happens over and over again. Where's all this going to end and some how a "new" beginning going to start?

TK Ivan Sanheim are all in their prime. Hell throw Hart in there as well. What is the flyers window to ice a cup team?

These guys are being wasted like prior players.rudderless orginization.

What’s your return on Sanheim, mediocre Dman signed until 2030 for decent money

should have clarified , point was they made a mistake signing him. Just dumb. He no doubt would have received a 7 year deal in free agency.

As what he may get in a trade, honestly no idea. I do believe he can be moved.

Funny though when you visit other flyers boards they tell you he is a legit top pair dman....
