Of course the Wings would move Bertuzzi, Why wouldn't they? In fact Tyler Bertuzzi dosen't have alot of value, He's pushing 30, Hasn't appeared in 300 games yet and constantly injured. If I had to sign him he's worth a 1 year deal at around 2.75 million. That's all I'd give him.

Does Bertuzzi want to play in Canada for a Canadian team?

Yeah, well Bert has no trade protection, so he can be punished by being sent to Canada.

Would any team in Canada take the risk of acquiring Bertuzzi with the uncertainty and fluidity of future Covid protocols?

Quite the ransom for Joel Edmundson? Like what, a 3rd and 5th. His main job is killing penalties on a team who can’t kill penalties

So Montreal can get a ransom for Edmundson...but Gavrikov, who is better, younger, cheaper, and a pure rental...is netting Boeser and his horrible contract? Like Boeser has very little value because of that contract. Nobody wants him. Columbus can and will get so much more for Gavrikov.

Also, this is a pretty amazing line: ...Edmonton who has had the most talk with Montreal per sources. That can be one of two things. They are closer to getting him, or they know the price is too high and they can’t get him.

Umm, so Edmonton is either close to getting Edmundson, or, all of these talks have just established that the price is too high. But Edmonton calls back over and over just to say hello.

Gavrikov doesn't fit the 25 and younger criteria PA and Rutherford have openly stated they are looking for. You're the absolute worst at fabricating stories because you don't even know players values or what teams are looking for. Also I don't know if people realize but Gavrikov has awful possession metrics and defensive analytics. He's not a great skater and he's also 27 and not getting any younger.

He's on an expiring contract. Cap space is probably Vancouver's biggest need. This is one way to get it. The "other pieces" would be the retained value in this trade.

Why would the 10th place Predators be looking to acquire a rental? Is David Poile confused what year he is travelling in?

How exactly will you look into "both possibilities" on these Edmonton-Montreal talks.

Hey I'm hearing you guys have been talking a lot. Does this mean:

A) Oilers are closest to getting Edmundson
B) Oilers know the price is too high so they can't get him

Could you just verify that for me so I can finish my next blog?

Why to sign Horvat? I don’t know really is a no win trade for Canucks.

His d-zone start percentage is over 70%. Not sure who WOULD have good possession numbers with that being the case.

Chris Tanev is one example. Just thought of a defensive guy and he was at 78% defensive zone start time and he's got decent metrics. Care to try again?

Anyone willing to blog for teams on this site would be a great add. Even this rumor is flat without any legs.

Seems we are just slipping into the death knolls of inactivity. No refs no input no nothing. Look at the Canucks blog that lost the best writer here.

Oh well enjoy while the site is still up. Not much to say in the flat cap world seems all movement is restricted and not possible.
