There’s not really much in rivalries anymore. When they do rivalry highlights before games they play video of early 2000’s because players still used physical violence against one an other. Now it’s just two teams that are trying to win a game like any other.

I used to give Ovi poop about his stand completely still tactic and wait for the 1 timer. I’m pretty sure he’s figured out it’s easier to get lost in the peripheral vision of the man guarding him than if he’s moving around. Pretty impressive how he can go from straight legged looking like he’s waiting for a bus straight to a 1 timer. Carlson or not I’d always just take away Ovi. At least it would frustrate him.

Hahaha all of the blogs have taken a hit for comments and activity... Some teams don't even have blogs at all anymore. It's the whole site.

Pens are getting older and slower though, no doubt. However, as for the glory years were 10 years ago, the back to back championships were less than 6 years ago. Some thought they might 3peat in 2018 with a healthy Letang... So I'd say it's been about 3 or 4 years as they were picked by most to advance further than first round a few times the past 4 years. Thanks for coming out though!

You gotta look at the hallmark story of Crosby, Letang And Carter limping into the playoffs together. Not to mention supporting cast like Malkin tgat have been around for awhile. It’s heartwarming.

It's so weird...pretty much the whole team is off. Petts and Petry have been an outstanding pairing this season... But since Petry has returned it hasn't seemed very good. Dumo on top pair with Tanger is brutal.. We all knew it... It's like Sully has to come to the realization all over again for the second time this season. It's not just the pairings though most of the 5 man units being deployed at any given time are out of sync and sloppy. This long break coming up is a good thing.
