And then a week off!
All winnable games and would do a lot to cement themselves in the top 3.
Losing teams are going to start selling off soon enough which will widen the gap between playoff bound teams and the rest of the field. |

The only game out of those 4 I would expect a win is the Columbus game. As Sean showed in his last blog the entire team and certain Kraken players scoring percent is way above the norm. That will start equalizing soon and that means much less scoring and less wins. The only way wins continue is a lower goals against ratio. Can the team and goal keeping do that? |

Been the narrative all season and hasnt happened. Time for that song and dance to end. Kraken are just a very good team. This miracle fall off just never materialized.
The team played well though was not happy seeing Dunn just bat at the puck, miss, then coast as the Devils player blew by to score. That at least seems to be an anomoly and not the norm as it was last season.
Kraken have beaten some of the leagues top teams and expect the next 4 they should take 3. |

It’s like the narrative that eventually McDavid will help the Oilers win something.
Just control what’s in front of you.
Also, CBJ is the only game to win out of the 4? Flames and Canucks are both hot garbage. I expect the Krak to finally pop their I5 Cherry. |

Canucks cant hold a lead. Flames are struggling. Columbus in there. Colorado has been coming on as of late and could be trouble, but even then. Teams that will “fall off” dont run on multiple 7 and 8 game win streaks.

Yes they are. They are an embarrassment to the league. |

And it ain’t gonna change till the Kraken make the playoffs, unfortunately.
Or perhaps fortunately. It’s more amusing watching you guys kick ass when considered an over achieving underdog. |

I get a kick out of the ones who always whine and sniveling, when I post links to big defensemen.
Seattle has a nice group of defensemen. |

This team has its warts, but they’re fun to watch, they seem to have a direction and a goal. There’s a bit of business they need to take care of, especially in net if they want to make some noise in the playoffs. But a 7 game matchup against any of Vegas, Edmonton, Calgary or LA is not the least bit intimidating. If they win the division and end up having to play Colorado or whichever team drops as Colorado rises it could be a different story but there isn’t a single team in the Pacific with an actual NHL starting goalie. |

I know you hate plus/minus but just go to ESPN or whatever you Canadians use for stats, most likely TSN or Sportsnet, and look at the +/- stat. The top 35 is blocked full of Bruins, Dallas Stars and Kraken players leading the way.
Six Kraken. Eleven Bruins. Six Dallas Stars. Playing a two-way game is something that's obviously important for success.
You know, as a Canucks fan (you), Cammi Granato was a pro scout for the Kraken and now they're doing well with a lot of their NHL pickups from other teams. The Kraken organization did a good job putting together this group and Hakstol has evolved as a coach after his stint in Philly. It took him some time but he needed to learn the league and now he's having a lot of success with what he's implemented. |

Ya'll are getting pretty cocky for a team who's top player has 38 points and is -6 and a team who have never sniffed the playoffs. You do have some HEAVY dmen tho i'll give you that. |

You have to admit, the Pacific Division is a hot mess full of teams that could easily implode in the playoffs. Calgary last year vs the Oilers. The Oilers every other year against everyone, LA. Someone is going to benefit.
Seattle sits 4th in the league in goals for, and if as you say, their top scorer only has 38 points that means they’re getting contributions across the entire roster, unlike a certain team who has two players responsible for 70+% of their goals… |

Cocky? Really? Says the 2nd Oiler fan to waltz in chirping. Team history? Should maybe go look at the years of ineptitude at home there before trying to dump on a 2nd year team. Especially while you are hoping to turn it around and pass a couple teams for a playoff spot, while fending off and holding onto a wildcard position. And I will take the Krakens depth and 4 line scoring over McDavid and Draisitl having to do it all cause there is nothing else. |

Here we go
Gru up against their former team here.
No Burakovsky and no Makar apparently |
Great start. Right on the Avs. First 6 shots and now an early PP. |
Avs PP but Gru coming up big on the shots getting through.
And finally get it out |
Man Gourde has not been really good lately. Bad penalty there clipping the goalie. Blew the scoring chance pulling up earlier off the first PK too.
And he misses the breakaway out of the box!!! 😖😖😖 |
Not a bad opening period. Need to get back to that opening 5 minutes dominating play and stay out of the box for sure though. So far not a bad game. |
Rebound put in by Newhook and Avs have the lead and opening goal 😖
Tough break with all the chances especially in the 1st. |
