One has to wonder if Demko's injury is career threatening. If I were Seattle I'd look elsewhere.

Much as ditching Gru is good dont need an injured goalie to replace him and ine that cant stop pucks at that.

I dont see Francis spending to bring Horvat in. You have just blocked Wright who Francis is high on. Canucks will want young talent that can slot in. They will want Wright, Firkkus, or Evans plus the picks. No way there. Plus we just claimed Tolvanen who has been excellent for us. Doubt we got him just to ditch him. This is Francis not Rutherford. Talking heads are making noise on it but its usually just talking points.

We need depth D and to fix the PK and be stronger defensively. I can see more upgrading on Donato and bottom guys over big splash expensive offence. Francis is patient and this is only year 2. I dont see Francis blowing his wad to suddenly go for it all.
