Bob is on the decline. He is not the 10-million-dollar goalie they had hoped he would be. He never was. He took the money and ran. I agree Hockey is all about puck possesion and we seem to be chasing the opposition around all the time. But I think that all comes down to structure and that's on Maurice's head. His idolization for the Staal brothers has not worked out and it time for them to go.
Futher more I use to like to watch the draft. No more as our first draft picks for the next three years were traded mainly for rentals. That is a major mistake on Zito part. |

I previously posted that the Panthers new head coach would hurt this team, and it has. Their running aimlessly around their own zone due to a lack of any defensive system This will become more evident as the season goes on.
Not to worry as Maurice is a good talker and great at deflecting any serious questions about the Panthers play, which will keep any detractors at bay. |

When Maurice went in for the head coaching interview, he himself said he was blah and told Zito basically how he coached. It took Bill Zito to get him jacked up, what does that tell you. His time in the NHL has come and gone.
What's more, it sounds like Zito was desperate for a coach. Maurice's apathetic attitude should have been a warning to Zito. |
