Beauvillier was once again invisible last night.

I don't think Ben watched a minute of this game.

To be fair the guy writes blogs for like six teams on here can’t expect him to watch all of the games.

The refs were horrible in that game. It's amazing that not only did we win anyway but they were able to shut them out.

a "Slashing" when Beau only his the stick to create a turnover.. absurd.

a "holding the stick" when a guy james his stick between Barzal's legs so he closed them... is he supposed to let the guy hit him in the nuts? or fck up his knee with a can opener?

we got tossed out of every face off by linesman.. in the few faceoffs we did win they blew whistle and called unfair advantage..

even the "interference" on Barzal was absurd. he hit the guy a second after he passed the puck. you want to call him for boarding maybe.. but it certainly isn't interference

Since Seattle isn't very high on Shane Wright so far.. I wonder what it would take to pry him out of there..

There is something about this kid that is toxic. It is probably going to cost more than he might be worth. Also, Seattle is winning right now. They can afford to place in the AHL and see how things play out.

The call on Beau was an absolute joke among the many joke calls in that game. They kept throwing PP’s at the second best PP in the league. I’m surprised lambert didn’t throw a stick at a ref that’s how bad it was to me.

If Seattle is looking to get rid of him, which I HIGHLY doubt, there’s a really good reason why and we shouldn’t touch him with a ten foot pole.

It appears that ducks are tanking this season for Bedard. What about this trade?

Ducks get - AB, Raty, and 1st.

Isles - Trevor Zegras

Isles new 1st Line
Zegras, Barzal, Walhstrom

I don't see any way they would ever trade Zegras. Their fans would go absolutely balistic.

this is the only time you can get a guy with this kind of upside talent though... I always go back to guys like Seguin who was one of those... "toxic".. "partying too much" .. etc. Even Barzal.. fell to us b/c he was cocky and had issues.. etc.

put a kid who is a little immature with our group and he will excel. I would try very hard to make it happen.

A goal a game so far.. the kid is legit and has a chip on his shoulder after being told for years he was best player in draft.

Yes, but don't we at least deserve some recipes for Islanders' cupcakes?

Frank Vatrano?? Where does Ek come up with these? At least if he is reporting it, it won't happen.

Ek only pays attention to the Flyers. The rest is just trying to get people to click.

This conversation is an absolute waste of time

I get we BS about crap that’ll never happen but they are not trading him and that’s about as definitive that a thing can be.

Who knows maybe something is up with the kid or he’s just not ready. Either way they’re not trading him. Not yet at least.

7. A couple of analytics gurus said Ilya Sorokin’s shutout of Edmonton on Wednesday was as good as it gets. Depending on who you ask, the Oilers should have had scored around five goals on the New York Islanders that night

I must say I agree with you. I was thinking during that game after a few absolute bad calls, that they should have a challenge option, like on goals. The Beau slash just didn’t happen.
