wouldn't swapping Monahan and Dvorak make sense? I feel the former has been much more effective and noticeable than the latter. anyway as you said let's hope Slaf makes the best of it.

Honestly, I would have like to see Slaf with Monahan and Anderson, but anything is better than 4th line duty with minimal minutes.

Maybe they want to keep Gallagher with Dvorak since they have been a duo for a while now?

To be honest I'm just happy that Slaf gets to play on that line really

The Habs are starting to form some chemistry with lines 2 and 3, generating secondary scoring (finally!), and not having to depends on the first lien all the time.

Tweaking is fine, but don't break it if it is working.

They just need to play better, as a team, defensively.

forgot about the D-Vo/Gallagher duo, good point lol.

I think there's room for improvement but let's see where this goes.

meh, Gally has 8 pts in 18 games.
Dvorak has 9.
not sure the duo is a thing...

well you can't expect them to be at 1pt per game each either... they've had some offensive droughts recently, they should gather up more points moving forward.

Hoffman started to score on that line

+, I'm not sure how much points we can expect from those guys at this point

Monahan has 10 pts in 18 games by the way

Monahan has 10 pts, but how many times did we say : poor guy, stuck with Dadonov and Drouin...
except for his 2 games with Caufield and Suzuki, he had worse wingers than Dvorak.

I don't expect 1PPG, but we cannot say this duo is a thing after only 18 games when they both are on a 40 points season while playing on almost all PP. I would like them to be our 3rd line, but we have to admit that so far they are our 2nd line.
40 points for a 2nd line? not good enough.

Being a duo doesn't mean they're a great duo.

I don't think we should expect any more points out of them

they are what they are

If they score once in a while or every 3 or 4 games, it's fine

I think fans should be happy for Slaf for once instead of female doging about something else

They are the 3rd line. Their job is to take most of the defensive zone starts and help mitigate the opposition's top players.

Gallagher has been a 40-50 pts player his whole career, Dvorak has never gotten 40.

If they both finish in the 40-50 points range, it will be a good season for them.
