Once Hossa joined the Hawks, there were so many games where he was the best forward on the ice. When he had a game where he wasn't he was still great. That was the thing about him, his bad games were still solid. Great player and it was the backchecking, board battles and just overall ability to make plays, protect the puck and cause problems for opposing teams that made him valuable.

What a drag I am forced to watch the Pittsburgh feed and all they talk about is Malkin that piece of crap a 2 second mention of Hossa. Malkin only accomplishment was injuring Crow with a dirty hit to the head .Pittsburgh Sucks !!!

Luke is a good coach.. problem is there’s no skill or talent anywhere to be found on this roster or in the AHL… this might be worse than the 90’s except for the first round exit against the blues

No idea the reasoning for it, but the Hawks are back to chasing a bunch. Maybe it’s because they don’t really have any d-men who have the confidence or ability to generate any movement from the backend?

Domi is a nice third line type of player, but now many are finding out why he’s on his 5th team in eight years.

Boys played hard some tough breaks and it goes south fast. Pitt isn't going anywhere; I really dislike that bunch. Toews give away there in the 3rd WOW !! Goalie bailed him out big time . Oh well in the big picture we are still heading in the right direction

Its bittersweet, want them to win but knowing its best if they don't. Nice to see Murphy looking like a top 4 dman but boy does this team miss Seth Jones.
