As for the call ups, is Belleville even playing tonight or tomorrow? I haven't checked lol.....but if Zaitsev isn't playing this does tell you that PD has told DJ, no more of #22!

Looking at Thomson's numbers it would appear he's regressed this season, I get keeping him back when this team needs more stay at home players, but also hoped to see a better showing from the guy. To that effect, Heatherington or Kristians Rubins still look like better fits than Larsson... Maybe Dorion is using this call up to give him a kick in the pants so he's better when he's sent back, but Larsson's numbers in the A really don't give a lot of confidence to address this team's shortcomings.

I'm not expecting an electrifying speech from 11. His flair was always more apparent on the ice than behind a mic, but what a player, what a legacy, really wish he had been a Sen for his whole career. I'll be chanting from the comfort of my couch.

They are without 5 of their top 9 forwards. Bibeau has played more in goal than the other two due to injuries.

True! Well I can tell you this, PD ripped DJ when he dressed Zaitsev and not JBD the first time JBD was called up.....so that is why you see Larsson, PD has told DJ now what to do with #22....he's fed with him....there are a few kinks in the relationship now....he may not be as loyal as he says now!

Avs are without 2 of their 3 forwards right now and 3 defenseman, but are still winning.....other teams are without players.....I don't want to hear the excuse brothers(PD and DJ) about injuries again....every team is dealing with it....

well coached teams win despite injuries, we all saw it this year with Vegas, Boston and the Panthers, philly to a lesser extent

Caps had 5 of their top 9 forwards out for a big chunk.....Bruins were without 2 of their top 3 defensemen for 15 games! Marchand missed the first 5 games....list goes on and on.
