Tough loss as this was their most complete game of the year. It was stunning to see the shot totals at 19-1 favoring the Ducks in the first period. The Ducks can't seem to get out of their own way, though. Stolarz kicks a weak shot right onto the stick of a Blackhawk player for an easy tying goal and then the winning goal bounces off of 2 Ducks players and past Stolarz, who was overplaying the original shot. It would have been nice to see Klingberg's shot go off the crossbar and in rather than deflect into the net, but that wouldn't be this year's Ducks, would it? |
