Does the merry go round with what positon Cutter plays go on all year? Was their an injury as to why he went back to wing? Any insight?

FYI Bill, you accidentally posted this in the Stars column.

Not a big deal moving Cutter to wing. He moved to wing in international tournaments to accommodate teammates. Even if he projects as an NHL center, there is a good chance he starts on the wing.

It’s criminal that it took the Philly sports HoF this long to honor Allen. Not only was he the greatest GM in Flyers history, but he was and is arguably the greatest GM in Philly pro sports history. Shame on them.

Matthews is getting ripped other places for what he did. Talk show host (former NHL players) are saying it was a bad look him. He helped instigate a fight where his teammates stuck up for him and did not participate in the fight. Matthews has a habit of doing this and smirking.

His teammates cannot be happy with his antics.

Cutter Gauthier sounds like a more aggressive JvR to me in terms of how he’s being handled in his development. I believe JvR was the most talented big, young, US born forwards at the time, who naturally played wing but was tried at center. The Flyers do not need a project at center, they need to draft a top-tier center. This is what we’re missing, after missing on Nolan Patrick and Morgan Frost in one draft. Joel Farabee and Travis Konency would probably have double the career points they do now if they had something legitimate playing with them in the middle.

I mean, DeAngelo picked another fight and left Hayes to fight it for him. I personally don't want Matthews to needlessly fight. It shouldn't be Gio but that's what some guys on the team are paid to do.
