It's been Appleton replacing Ehlers so far.

Fixed that. Thanks.

Not sure what had me thinking it was Gagner on the top line

Scheifele was being touted as a center on the 2020 team Canada Olympic team because of his great 2 way play, only to become a defensive liability 2 years later.
What happened? I think he got tired of playing Maurice's no system defense.
Now he looks like a man having fun and its only 6 games into the season. I hope his play continues as he is playing like the player he was 3 seasons ago.

Faceoffs and zone exits need a lot of work. Top 3 centers are all under 50% in the dot.

I'm not sure I've watched a Jets game where the zone exits were worse than they were last night. It was almost comical how they couldn't seem to get it past the blue-line on what should have been automatic exits. It was capped by Dubois just handing the puck over for LAK's fourth goal.

Anyways, the Jets somehow won that one. Arizona is a fast team as well but subject to many defensive lapses and questionable goaltending. Should be an interesting game on a back-to-back.

Scheif's speed and shot this year are a noticeable improvement over last year. He must. have really worked hard on those two aspects of his game. I think his defensive awareness has also improved.

shief, PLD and Helle can all sign long term extensions with the Jets or somewhere else this summer. I've long said, these three above everyone else will be highly motivated (financially) to have their best years this year.

Interesting that on a night where the other team was significantly faster than us, our best player was Adam
Lowry, he takes a lot of heat in here from a few, might want to check out the analytics.

Gotta feel somewhat sorry for the Coyotes ( Jets 1.0) and their arena situation. Having 14 games on the road starting Nov. 5th to Dec 7th is going to be one very tough slough.

Anyways, nice comeback win for the Jets who overall I felt did still outplay the Yotes on the back end of back-to-back games. Perfetti looking better and better by the game.

Sunday will be a tough one against Vegas. I'm not too hopeful on this one.

Dear 55,
That was a sad effort in OT. Your goalie never quit. You did.
Less than 10 seconds to go and you stood and watched Eichel blow by you and score the winning goal. Maybe you were tired, but even taking a penalty would have been an improvement over what you did.
55, you need to be better.

Agree,

....and #5 , will you please stop taking 1 to 2 stupid stick penalties literally every game.

On a positive note, the 3rd and 4th lines have looked excellent this season. The additions of tough-in-close Maenalanen and speedy Axel Jonsson-Fjällby have done wonders. I did mention early on that I thought Toninato would not last long. Happy to see him back on the Moose.

not disagreeing...but Connor and Morrisey also sat by and did nothing, all morrisey had to do was move one foot and he would've blocked that path. also, shame on Arniel for overplaying 55 and 81 in the OT, so no kidding they were gassed. Perfetti who was one of our best forwards all night didnt get a shift in OT????

there are some desperate teams out there looking for D, especially right shot!! we should be selling high on pionk and getting ourselves out of that contract!! pionk has not been very good this year outside a couple good shifts here and there and one great overtime goal.

Upon further review, Morrissey certainly did nothing as well (possible that he was in disbelief that 55 didn't have Eichel).

It's a man on man situation and Eichel was 55's man.

trade any of our D, any of them!!! how long do we have to watch Helle be hung out to dry before we realize you could literally swap the entire Moose D with the Jets D and not see a difference?

To read Friedman say that teams have called Chevy about our D and he isnt interested in making trades right now is so F'ing frustrating.

if you really want the Jets to go for it, let any team overpay for any of our D and start swapping them for goal scorers. try and score as much as we can and continue to rely on helle.

I wish that our forwards could spend as much time in front of opponent's nets as the opponents do in front of our net.

Faceoffs are still a concern.
Scheifele 44.6%
Gus 44.6%
Lowry 47.1
Dubois 47.5
