Carol Schram: Boeser and Mikheyev return but Hughes is absent as opening day draws near Injuries have been the lead story of preseason for the Vancouver Canucks. Two days out from Game 1 of the regular season, their roster details continue to look murky, particularly with the ongoing absence of Quinn Hughes.

Kinda crazy to think that he's the same age as Hughes, a year older than Hog, and 2 years older than Pod

Rathbone is also older than Hughes. These college kids who stay in school longer should really be hitting the ground running as pros considered how much more mature they should be as prospects.

Cheers Carol! They’re going to have to get those special teams numbers to flip flop if they want to be serious about the playoffs.

Playing college against older players has a leg up on JR’s imo. Euros playing against men helps but the big ice isn’t a help. The AHL doesn’t always groom players well & 1 reason jr draft age should be upped a year.

Think they will need to be top 10 in both categories if they want to make the playoffs.

Sportsnet still in shock over the Blue Jays early exit. The latest headline essentially states “Blue Jays elimination is bad for baseball”.

Just waiting for the inevitable headline “Why Blue Jays elimination makes Auston Matthews a better player”.

My kid’s friend started a YouTube channel for fishing in Chilliwack. Great kid so show him some love.

His goal is to stream to kids so his videos are geared towards that age group.
