Other than the first game he played after being traded from Montreal, Toffoli hasn't looked "right" to me yet.

Toffoli has looked like a total disaster
Maybe not Sonny Milano bad, but pretty darn close

We relaly need something better on that top line
I dont think it hurts trying out a Dube or Coleman at this point

I really wish they also gave Phillips and Pelltier a better chance too

Coleman on the 1st line seems like a good fit. I think he will flourish there, I can see that. But him and Backlund are also inseparable so I don't know. But man, Coleman on the first line may be the missing piece there.

Well it gets really hypothetical going down that rabbit hole. The 1st round pick we traded to Boston for Dougie Hamilton, we could have gotten Barzal with that pick, so yeah he could have been a Flame. It was the Bruins that crapped the bed with their 3 picks in a row that year. We also need to remember that Hamilton brought us Lindholm & Hanafin so no regrets on that deal. The Hamonic trade that would have been Dobson...well... Hamonic was still a good Dman on a rock star cap hit. Hind sight however when you dont win jack crap makes the trade regrettable. Whatever, I dont lose any sleep over it.
