I agree. I know it's about asset management, but the cupboard is currently full. As long as they don't make a habit of it, who cares? Keep the better player, or at least who has the higher ceiling.

This team is seriously in big trouble if Vesey cracks the first line. Shesterkin, Fox, Zibanejad, Kreider and Panarin. After these five the only forward that has upside is Lafrenniere . Like Miller and Trouba but after that the rest of the team is full of busts.

Once teams figure out not to take penalties against the Rangers the Rags will be in trouble. Take away the lethal power play this team will struggle to score at even strength, especially on the road.

Name calling and insults the best you got? Why don't you just look at the facts. Everyone knows the Rangers have the top goaltender and the top power play. After that there are serious flaws. Nothing that can't be fixed but I think your drinking too much koolaid if you think Vesey is gonna make or break this team. Kakko, Chytil, Kravstov all are first round busts who have had long enough to show they should have been first rounders. Still possible but unlikely they become what you want from first rounders.
