This first line scares 😱 nobody. The rest is serviceable AHL. |

Any insight why Ginning or Hogberg didn't get into any action over these 2 stiffs:
24 Nick Seeler - 37 Louie Belpedio

Bill Meltzer: Preseason Gameday: 10/4/2022 vs NYI - bmeltzer
Thanks, Bill. Is it possible that the Flyers are taking the NFL path, to some extent, in not playing regulars in preseason exhibition games to minimize injury... and once the roster is basically finalized Torts will damp up the technical practices, and get the players ready for opening night and beyond? If not, these bare bones lineups are very concerning. |

Did you read the whole post? It lists injuries to their top players including TK, IP, RR, CH, and that's why they're not in. Besides, I think Torts sees many of those in the lineup tonight as players that have a chance to make the team. |

1-0 Isles. Flyers work hard, win faceoffs, make good passes. Still can't score. |

Hey. Hey. Hey. They played together in Iowa and Minnesota. Chemistry.

I read all that... as well as most of those players participating in on ice things. Seems like precautionary action to me. I wouldn't be asking Bill if it weren't for the recent NFL practice of not playing regulars until the real games begin. If these players are all too hurt to play, the Flyers are in worse shape than we think. I'd like to hear Bill's take on my question... not what the Flyers are putting out. |

The amount of injuries this team has had in last few years is nuts. There has to be a trend. Coincidences don’t happen over and over again. |

Maybe the players are faking it as they don't want to play for this embarrassment

If they are a majority of groins and lower body issues, I still say the ice composition is too soft or hard or something.

They are obviously banged up somewhat. And with this team's horrendous track record of injuries, why risk them in a preseason game? Maybe they are mimicking what the NFL does, or maybe their just overly cautious with them because we have virtually no NHL depth and can't afford any more roster players injured for longer stretches of time. |

Yes he should. Tony D, Braun and Risto are ahead of him. So play 11 forwards and 7D some games. That 12 th forward isn’t gonna bring much anyway. Let him play 7-10 min. spelling
Braun so he can be more effective with less minutes. |

according to Bill; "Travis Konecny (suspected upper-body issue, one preseason game played), Cam Atkinson (upper body, DNP in preseason), Ivan Provorov (undisclosed), Rasmus Ristolainen (undisclosed)"
Couturier-back
Farabee-neck
sounds like plenty of upper body injuries too. |

I trust it when players are practicing regularly. |

Interesting stat: Of the 15 teams that had the most man games lost to injury last season (Flyers tied for 4th), None made the playoffs. Seems to be a direct correlation.
If the Flyers can only stay healthy they hove a shot. Lol - Djapana
😆 if they had superstars |
