This line was good. Zacha is getting a great opportunity to learn from both Krej and Bergy. Hope he is a sponge this year.
Steen on waivers. Not surprised as he wasn't too noticeable. Really interested to see who makes the next cut.

Zacha's main issue (coming from someone who not only watched him closely for years, but was a true supporter and far too often a defender of his throughout that time) is that he's far too inconsistent while also lacking what many would call "drive" or a will to insert himself when things aren't going well for him.
He'll have ten game stretches of having nearly a ppg while showcasing his ability to have a sneaky quick and strong wrist shot coupled with an ability to pass his way into very tight spaces leading directly to grade-A chances.
On the other hand, he'll then go 30 games with 10 points while being near invisible, flubbing high-quality opportunities and not adding much else in the other aspects of the game - whether it's playing the body or being a pest on the puck.
Worth noting, the guy can hit the post with the best of them. He deserved quite a few more goals/points throughout his tenure with NJD, but he was also given plenty of time and opportunity to solidified himself as a core member here and it never came to fruition.
As a funny note, my one buddy hated Zacha so much for his continued ability to come up short that a group of us bought him a Zacha jersey for his birthday as a troll job. Safe to say he was happy to see Zacha go.
Hoping he can get a spark from the move since he seems to be getting a shot to play with BOS' premier players.
