Curious as to why AJ Greer, Trent Frederic and Nick Foligno would get a look on the top line over Marc McLaughlin

I think McLaughlin should absolutely be in the lineup. He’s going to bring some scoring to the 4th line.

Ideally, Lysell skates with Patrice and Debrusk. Lysell looked pretty good until he got hurt. That also scares me though. Wasn’t that big of a hit so he might not physically be ready for an nhl season

Almost looked like his ribs where crunched between Ristolainen's ass and the boards. I assuming they kept him out as a precaution since he is the wunderkind. If not Lysell it should absolutely be McLaughlin that gets the shot. We know what Frederic and Foligno are at this point. McLaughlin's game is far more dynamic given the other 2.

A.J. Greer seems like he be a perfect fit in the bottom 6 over Frederic and a possible upgrade over Nosek.

Have been disappointed with Frederic. He has to be more involved. They are going to start him with Coyle and Smith and the Bruins need them to produce . For a short period last year they looked really good. All big strong players who can be hard to handle. Smith has to find the net. Greer is by far the best option on 4th line . They need someone who is going to hit and scrap. He also can move a bit. Good energy guy. Dont like Nosek he is definitly replaceable only thing is they have more depth at wing then center. Beecher is not ready but looks promising, The big K looks ok and
with Studnicka its decision time.

Derek Brassard has looked good in Ottawa's camp on a PTO.
And Tyler Ennis is solid every year no matter where he plays.

Just sayin. There are options out there.

Studs can go on waivers. Maybe a team like the Ducks will claim him and he can step his game up in on a team where there is no pressure to win at the current moment. Otherwise he is likely AHL bound if unclaimed. Not enough there to warrant a spot over the current selections.

This line was good. Zacha is getting a great opportunity to learn from both Krej and Bergy. Hope he is a sponge this year.

Steen on waivers. Not surprised as he wasn't too noticeable. Really interested to see who makes the next cut.

Beecher, lysell McLaughlin and kopp to providence.

Ugh this is just ugly. Foligno likely getting the look on the left of bergy and Debrusk too. What a joke

Zacha's main issue (coming from someone who not only watched him closely for years, but was a true supporter and far too often a defender of his throughout that time) is that he's far too inconsistent while also lacking what many would call "drive" or a will to insert himself when things aren't going well for him.

He'll have ten game stretches of having nearly a ppg while showcasing his ability to have a sneaky quick and strong wrist shot coupled with an ability to pass his way into very tight spaces leading directly to grade-A chances.

On the other hand, he'll then go 30 games with 10 points while being near invisible, flubbing high-quality opportunities and not adding much else in the other aspects of the game - whether it's playing the body or being a pest on the puck.

Worth noting, the guy can hit the post with the best of them. He deserved quite a few more goals/points throughout his tenure with NJD, but he was also given plenty of time and opportunity to solidified himself as a core member here and it never came to fruition.

As a funny note, my one buddy hated Zacha so much for his continued ability to come up short that a group of us bought him a Zacha jersey for his birthday as a troll job. Safe to say he was happy to see Zacha go.

Hoping he can get a spark from the move since he seems to be getting a shot to play with BOS' premier players.
