Who wants to tell Ek that Grimaldi is not with Nashville anymore, but on a PTO in Anaheim?

nobody in Ottawa ever thought he was a top prospect. He was another "son of a father" favor pick who might have lived up to hype and the name. Except...he didn't.

Guess what. The Sens are still making picks based on this model. With similar mixed results.

Duchene does well against the other teams prospects and AHLers.

Not only should hockey pool players not read too much into preseason stats, but maybe the media should too. Haha. Especially these guys getting 3 goals in just 2 games. Whoa. It's even possible that 1 of those goals came against NHL opponents. Whoa.

Anyway, if Grimaldi keeps this up he could be featured on the same line as Duchene, at least to begin the season. Could be a deadly combination for the Preds. Opposing coaches would try to prepare for Duchene, but Grimaldi could appear out of nowhere and score.

Montreal made the playoffs last year?

If you are the Habs do you grab Barre-Boulet off waivers? was surprised to see they didn't take a shot at Suzuki's childhood buddy Ratcliffe or Radim Zohorna who Calgary eventually took. I'm guessing Kent and Gorto want to wait it out as better players will become available closer to the start of the season.
