Leafs are set as far as this season goes, but come playoffs, Holl can't be on this team. Keefe will do something stupid again and put him on the ice over someone that vastly outplayed him.

Even if another guy doesn't come in, Holl needs to be traded by playoffs time. Save Keefe from himself.

Are there any right handed D men with only this year left on their contracts? If not, Chychrun it is.

Problem with getting Chychrun is that it requires someone agreeing to go to Arizona (Holl, Kerfoot or Muzzin) to make the money work. No one agrees to go to Arizona.

That's why Sandin could/would get a great return, too (or be a great piece in a Chychrun trade). But I can't see him being traded now after signing the contract he was offered all along.

Cool. No shot he accepts to go to Arizona, then.

Kerfoot, if he accepted the trade, would play maybe a handful of games with them before getting flipped to another good team. No shot they hold onto him. Or, he gets traded to a team not on his list and maybe doesn't make the playoffs with that team. And the Leafs use the return from that trade in a trade for Chychrun.

Holl is insanely easy, in my opinion. Just ask him if he wants to play in the NHL. If the answer is yes, accept the trade and they'll probably give him an extension to help them lose for another couple years.

Keefe is an AHL Coach who os doing well because of the roster he is running. This team needs a serious experienced NHL coach to put them over the top. Keefe makes many strange decisions. Time to bring in Trotz.

Muzzin I do not see going to ARZ because he would be played into the ground.

Kerfoot would get PP1 time and would play in the top 6. Likely their number 1C.

You have guys like Boyd getting 15 goals and getting paid because they get playing time.

I'd go as far as saying Kerfoot would get more points there.

His 750K salary and then trading him to a contender at the TDL for picks makes sense.

If Kerfoot gets traded in any deal, ARZ makes sense early on in the season.

Its a tough trade to do, next year and the year after it makes a lot of sense.

I think you let other teams go for it now and if he is still available at the TDL you re visit.

No, you are obsessed and think Holl is far worse than he actually is. Also Arizona has made their asking price clear, to get Chychrun you’re looking at giving up high end picks and prospects. Vets aren’t going to be what Arizona accepts.

Most importantly here tho… don’t be insulting people by openly trashing their comments with something like “stupid ass response” which crossed the line so please consider this the warning.

Pittsburgh just released Alex Nylander....we should sign him for league minimum...I think playing with his brother may help his game.

This is pretty close but not bang on. It has the second and third pairings mixed up. The second pair is Giordano Holl and the third pairing is Muzzin Sandin.

My guess is Muzzin and Gio will get flipped once Muzzin is truly ready for his role on the leafs.

Pittsburgh just released Alex Nylander....we should sign him for league minimum...I think playing with his brother may help his game.

I think it’s a stretch to say he gets more points in Arizona when you compare the talent on the two teams and the different opportunities he’d have as a Leaf. I also have trouble seeing him as an offensive 1C. (I’m not sure where the Boyd “getting paid” comes from BTW.)

Where you work also matters. Their facilities are substandard and their ownership is a joke. ASU had to write a “good behaviour” clause into their deal with the Coyotes allowing them to boot the team if the owner continues to (frank) up publicly.

It’s tempting to twist ourselves into knots because it would be nice to get a player. It doesn’t mean that someone is going to waste their NTC. In fact the only person who has since they announced the ASU deal is half dead Andrew Ladd

(Alex couldn’t make the Sabres. Alex couldn’t make Blackhawks. Alex couldn’t make the Pens. Alex looks more like Laine the Willie.)
