There is also the much improved special teams as a whole. The PO set up has looked far better, as did the PK. The one issue does remain and is still there with how they defend in their own end. Its still no structure/run around chasing. They get away with that in pre season but come meaningful games its going to make the goalies have to come up big far more often.

Tanev back is huge. Heart and soul of the team. His presence and play really is infectious on the rest.

Francis did a great job in correcting the roster, and drafting, but his one mistake remaining is Hak on the bench. I really think they will need to address that before too long.

Just WOW!! What a comeback there. It wasn't looking great and then boom. There's that surge last year we would have and be all over the other team. Only difference is this year the offence actually is there and can be dangerous and bury some!

Great comeback win for the boys tonight.

Goong to be a fun rematch game against the Nucks tonight.

And added bo us its birth of the Kraken Mascot night!

The Kraken unveiled Bouy the Sea-Troll as their mascot.

Honestly not sure if I like it or wanna cringe. It's a troll, but it is also kinda cool. I dunno, I guess going more Davey Jones wasn't as kid friendly and maybe would draw the ire of the House of Mouse?!

On the plus side, with a mostly set roster the team handled Vancouver easily for a 4-0 win. Majorly outshot them in the 1st and 3rd and hung on through the 2nd where penalties gave Vancouver more shots and chances. Solid game all around and another win!

Seattle makes mostly expected cuts, starting to fill out Coachella. Only one that really stuck out was Kole Lind who couldn’t stick yet again. Likely an injury bottom 6 call up down the road he just can’t seem to really do enough to stick. At this point you wonder how long he will last given the amount of picks and young talent Francis is putting into the lineup. I can see him moved at some point.

Players placed on waivers for the purpose assignment to Coachella Valley’s training camp:
Jesper Froden
Cameraon Hughes
Kole Lind
Max McCormick
Gustav Olofsson
Austin Poganski
Andrew Poturalski
Brogan Rafferty
Carsen Twarynski
Magnus Hellberg

Hellberg lost on waivers with Ottawa claiming him since Talbot has fractured ribs and out 3-7 weeks timeframe.

Not a huge loss but does affect the goalie depth with Dreidger still on the shelf.

Beniers with the beauty but lone goal as finally lose to Flames. Jones went the distance in taking the loss too. Calgary iced a more regulars lineup which should be a good insicator there is plenty more work to do before the start of the season for Seattle.

I like this.

Also, likely another goalie to be placed on waivers they can grab to replace Hellberg.
