Have the NHL playoffs started yet?
Cause thats really the only thing I care about for this upcoming NHL "season".

I understand how you feel.

But the season will bring alot of great moments and stories as well, I'd rather we don't skip it.

This season will be different.. The Leafs will go deep into the playoffs and Matt Murray will re-establish himself..

I'm hyped for an 82 game season with all the games in front of a full arena.

Yeah, that's what I am really hoping for.

Last year, the atmosphere at regular season games was meh.

Some normalcy will be nice. Rona numbers are falling worldwide. This thing has been awful and regular HNIC will be a treat.

I don't know how much of an issue it was early on in the season, but I think the team handled it well..

I think this season will come down to Murray and Samsonov. If they can handle the pressure that comes with playing in Toronto, the Leafs are going to be good this year.

The team just needs average goaltending to be successful..

No more goalies posting save percentages below .900 please.

I don't think it was an issue on the ice, but some nights really sucked in the stands.

For weeknight games, the building was 80%-90%.

Tickets were selling for under face value.

that's understandable, a lot of people were afraid of Covid.. I think many still are, but now that it's being treated like the flu here in Ontario.. So, ticket prices will only increase on the secondary market.

I went to a game last season and it was kinda dead but that's mostly because we lost 5-2 to (frank)ing Buffalo.

That why I didn't care for going places. Went to one game, the first I'd gone to in 6ish years, and that was enough for me.

I'm not gonna risk getting Covid even more now that my dad is in the middle of chemo. So unlikely I'll be going to any games anytime soon.

I think Samsonov will have a really good year.
Murray....hoping he has at least a decent year.

But only how they play in the playoffs matter, so we'll see.

I felt the same way, I didn't want to risk getting Covid either. My in-laws are in their 80's.. I still worry about them.

Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he'll be back to full health soon

It was anything but dead in the leaf blog comment section after that loss.....same with the outdoor game vs Buffalo.

I hated the Murray trade, but with 2 months to process it I’m beginning to have an optimistic outlook on it.
