Thanks Carol!
Nice to see Miller saying all the right things for the teams interested in him. |

From last threat but relevant to this article too.
Over time in here you will learn that out of the 32 teams it's the Canucks and the Canucks only that have cap issues.
- LordHumungous
Well to be fair he said Wild had no cap space.
The Canucks well they have tough decisions to make. That’s probably why JTM was talking about management’s vision being formed in recent interview |

Miller:
Its definitely going to be next to impossible to not be 100% focused on the task when you have your livelihood and career on the line...Especially in Vancouver,if I don't score in the 1st game of the yr they're going to want to light my jersey on fire
He's got an offer on the table. If he's that worried, maybe he should take the offer(assuming it's very reasonable) for both parties. If he has a poop season, sucks to be him.
Prime example, John Klingberg. His agent told him to wait for 8M a season long term even after they offered him 8 years 7M per season. Now he has a 1 year deal at 7M. |

Miller will sign here, he has flourished in this market thru unheard of circumstances in life and turned into a star, an American who wants to resign in Canada, the best is yet to come for JT and the Nucks |

Yet he just finished whining that if he signs and doesn't score on his first shift fans will burn his jersey.
The vibe coming out of Miller about signing here is very mixed.

What does any other teams salary cap situation have to do with the Canucks situation? I mean, other than limiting the number of teams available to deal with if the Canucks want to shed salary…
The whole “other teams are bad” excuse is a humongous load of BS. |

Not at all what the point was. Whining that people only complain about the Canucks salary cap situation (in a Canucks blog) when there are lots of other teams who have the same (or worse) situations is idiotic. Good for them, I’m glad those other teams are in a tough spot, it will make things more difficult for them to improve. If Benning hadn’t (frank)ed things up so badly the Canucks could have been in a much better spot to take advantage of those opportunities. But he did, and they aren’t, so deal with it. |

Benning is gone get over it.
Which opportunity?
3rd & 4th for Bjorkstrand? 28g 57pts
Miky is cheaper & cost no assets.
The fact is the stagnant cap has put more pressure on most teams. |

Leafs hate fast 200’ players.
There’s a reason he was available. Bjorkstrand is a complete player and playing closer to where he played junior. I take the player that puts the puck in the net. I get it, some people are mesmerized by figure skating, just not me. |
