Ok .. I like them both the more I look into it.

Adds some talent and backup in the middle and Wing.

We are weak on RW so I think Strome can play there, McTavish in the Middle and M Vatrano on LW.

Max Jones can slide on LW with Isac and Silf.. that might be a real nice 3rd line.

Then Comtois or Rico or ... Tarasenko with Z and TT .. up top

And a 4th line of whoever is left over.

With the last 10 mil... need some D add... or ... perhaps Kads....

Vatrano will be a fan favorite, I as a ranger fan wanted him back but we just couldn’t do it

Strome will be annoying after awhile but he’s good player. Wing is probably where he’s best right now. He’s terrible on faceoffs

Both are def gonna help us.

Even if Strome is terrible in the dot, he's a guy that can help whoever he plays with in the middle with some of the D responsibilities.

We need shooters and Vatrano seems like a guy that puts pucks on net.. accurately.

Plus I believe RS can really help on PP.

Strome is definitely good on the PP, we used him in the bumper spot.

Wheels has a wicked wrist shot that is very accurate and he busts his ass. I think that was a top 5 signing of the day across the league

Decent moves to make the Ducks slightly more competitive. I particularly like the Vatrano signing mainly because he’s a shooter and the ducks are currently lacking that. With the Strome signing, our center position is pretty crowded but I hope Eakins is smart and doesn’t hurt the development of our young centers (Zegras, Mctavish, Lundestrom). I would like to see GMPV make some big moves to acquire more futures. Finding a suitable team to trade Gibson to. Maybe trading him to Florida for Bobrovsky with Florida retaining salary and attaching a first and a prospect or better yet attaching Lundell or Weegar. Anaheim has the cap space and won’t be competitive for at least another few years.

Florida has Spencer Knight in waiting. I think they’re good there.

Plus, I think most teams would have to pry Lundell from their cold, dead hands. I know Bennett is playing better for Florida than he ever did for Calgary, but Lundell has higher upside, and I don’t think it’s long before they swap out in the middle 6.
