Didn't really care for the pick at 10.. to me he Brendan Guhle with a Russian name.
Loved the pick at 22, He will play and be effective... Warren at 42 is fine big an d nasty.. perhaps he turns into a jr. K'Andre Miller ..and I love Tristan @ 56 .. A real Steal... 52 goals is 52 goals... so no worries there... the rest of the kids have potential.. so I like betting on upside...

Maybe he GMPV throws some serious $$$ at Nazem Kadri? Maybe Evander Kane? Burakovski? Palat? Trochek? He HAS to spend $18 million minimum. Something is going to happen on Wednesday.
I don't think the Ducks are bad enough to be the worst team in the NHL. But adding a foward won't make this team that much better either. Like debrincate or Fiala may have helped the Ducks win 3 to 5 more games. But adding either of these players would have made watching the next season alot more entertaining. And it would have also been a step towards building this team into a playoff caliber team.
I understand alot of Ducks fans would love a top 10 player to watch. But we don't need a star player to win a Stanley Cup. Building the Ducks into a contender is going to take smart moves and alot of development over the next 3 to 4 years. That includes Free Agency and trades. So the idea of the Duck just drafting Connor Bredard and that he will fix everything is completely false. It takes more than one player. Mostly it takes many players doing a variety of different jobs good to make a true Stanley Cup champion.
Just getting star players may work in other league's. Like basketball. Getting Jordan, Bryant, Johnson, James may make you a instant contender. But hockey is so codependent that one player isn't enough. Maybe a great top 6. Or maybe a great defense built team. But with hockey it always a group effort. And it's about time the Ducks started building a real team.
