Fact is it was blatant too many men and should have been called. The NHL ffed this up just like the Hull goal and the Leon Stickle shyt show.
Tampa got screwed just like Buff and the Flyers.
I could not care less who wins this series. No horse in this race, but Kadri clearly and intentionally left early to gain an advantage. He succeeded- great goal by a great player, but still should not have counted.

NHL ffed it up (again). - Joe Nardone
Happens all the time. Call that one and you have to set the precedent that all all/most instances of it happening have to be penalized and I don't think anyone wants to see that. You can't retroactively pick and choose which occurrences should be called and which shouldn't.
COL beat the wheels off Tampa for the entire overtime before that and they were exhausted with the long change and Kadri capitalized. Did he leave a little early? Yes, but this was hardly egregious enough to have been called.

2. Colorado Avalanche goalie Darcy Kuemper came out of his net and moved the puck quickly to earn a secondary assist on Nazem Kadri’s overtime winner in Game 4. He became the first goalie in NHL history to record an OT assist in a Stanley Cup Final game. He is only the fourth goalie, joining Pekka Rinne, Tuukka Rask and Dominik Hasek, to record an OT assist in any playoff game.

Shesterkin had 3 in this year's playoffs alone

PLD breaking up with the Jets….”hey,. in two years I think we should see other people but I’m still cool now if you are.” - Ross77
Keep paying me and I will keep playing for you for the next 2yrs but you might want to trade my ass before the end of my contract if you want something in return, I plan to (frank) off when I am UFA. Can't say the guy is not honest.

Sources say Barry Trotz has decided NOT to immediately jump back into coaching. Trotz informed the Winnipeg Jets of his decision today and intends on continuing to focus on family. Trotz acknowledged how difficult the decision was to not accept the head coaching job in Winnipeg.
The Habs have to try and entice the Jets to trade them PLD who is a very good Quebec boy that the Habs have been trying to get for a long time. What would the Habs have to give up to get him? I think it starts with Romanov and another top end piece like Anderson. The Jets don't want or need draft picks, 3rd/4th line forwards, bottom pairing d-men, young untested prospects or cap dumps.

This is incorrect on all accounts. It doesn't happen all the time. That play is called for too many men on the ice 90% of the time. Early changes happen all the time and it's not called because it's within the rules. Once the player plays the puck, it then becomes a penalty. If he doesn't, then no penalty. It was egregious. Kadri was on the other side of the ice from the bench while the player he was replacing was still on the ice. How early do you have to jump on for that to be the case? Did he leave a little early.

Habs will draft first overall this year, suck again this up coming season, grab another top 5 pick next year No cutting corners...

I mean, MacKinnon was coasting off exhausted and Kadri hopped on the ice and busted his ass to get in the play. I'd say the difference in effort accounts for a good portion of how Kadri was in the middle of the ice when the player he was replacing was fiddling around trying to open the door. I'm not denying he hopped early, I'm just not going to make a federal case out of a matter of a few feet.
You seem very hung up on where MacKinnon was when Kadri actually gets control of the puck, so here you go:
I'm comfortable estimating that MacKinnon is 5ft or less from the bench. So there's your early change that happens all the time that you just said was fine. And above is Kadri just before gaining control of the puck....when MacKinnon is at the bench

It is irrelevant that McKinnon was 5 feet from the bench. He could've been a foot from the bench and it is still a penalty. Once Kadri plays the puck with McKinnon still on the ice. It becomes a too many men on the ice penalty.
You have a reading comprehension issue. What I clearly said is that the early change grace area is fine unless the player coming onto the ice plays the puck. If he does, then it is a penalty. On the same play, two TB players were on the ice while thier replacements were already on within the grace area near the bench. Because neither TB player plays the puck, that is a legal change. That is what happens all the time. Not what Kadri did. That is called a penalty 90+% of the time in my view.
So it looks like Trotz doesn’t want to coach right now. So you said he was running out of options Kevin. I said he didn’t want any of those jobs and in fact turned many of them down. Looks like he is set on moving into management.

The Jets could use good or decent draft picks, the prospect pool is pretty empty.
Anderson's contract is pretty ugly, Idk if he's worth the risk.
I like Romanov but the Jets have so many LHD already.
The Jets 3rd and 4th lines are trash, while a 3rd liner alone isn't enough for Dubois the Jets could definitely use some better 3rd liners.
Dubois really screwed the Jets, while they'll still get something decent for him he definitely lowered his trade value, they need to trade him sooner than later.

PLD is just be honest. Just because guys like Tkachuk, Mathews, Laine or others from that same draft haven’t come out and said they plan on going to free agency doesn’t mean they wont. More than likely they all do. The cap is set to go up a lot in 2-3 years. Why would any of these top RFA’s re sign now? They won’t.

No doubt and that's fine if they want to do that but sinking your value by announcing it is a real Richard move, most guys will play ball with the team that has their rights, even Trouba didn't screw the Jets around like this.
