Very winnable series. Rangers have outplayed the canes in 3 of 4 games now. If they win in Carolina it could be over in 6.

Jan, one small edit to the Lorenz penalty. He got the instigator and a 10 min misconduct penalty. Though I would love to see a 10 minute major.

Wow....are you guys going to do this? They seem a lot like the 2017 Pens...world class goaltending and extremely opportunistic scoring....

Thanks. Fixed. What happens when copying and pasting and moving pieces around in the blog. Appreciate the catch.

Shhh. We like being below the radar. Still long way to goal and if they win this round, Tampa looms

Keep being in their heads. You could really see the frustration on their guys late last night. I thought for sure Svetchnikov was gonna do something stupid

yep it doesn't even matter he isn't putting up points. He is showing he has the grit, aggression and physicality needed to play playoff hockey. Still only 20 years old too

I think Reaves had his best and most influential game last night. It’s like the canes wanna start trouble but can’t because he’s “around”, and that’s what they call intimidation and why he was signed

first goal is huge on Thursday. If the rangers can get it, gonna make that arena really nervous and quiet

What a great game!! They are locking it down, making less mistakes/turnovers and Igor is definitely top 2 or 3 goalies in the world!!!

I gotta admit, if they continue to play like this, i will start to get my hopes up!!

Someone better call Panarin and tell him the playoffs started. He really has been invisible.

Anyone know what Rod said about that penalty? We switched to the Edmonton game.

Definitely his best game. Obviously that's why Gallant wanted him here for the playoffs.Carolina is all bark and no bite because of Reavo.

Tony D can't hold Adam Fox's jock running the right point on the powerplay

he's not even remotely in the same ballpark when it comes to talent level

Personally, I think what Reaves did was incredibly smart. Obviously he would have fought if need, but he did not need to. What he did was set a tone that the antics and cheap shots would not be tolerated and if they keep going, there is hell to pay.
All Domi and DeAngelo did was yap their poop mouths and get frustrated. I think Reaves played them like a fiddle in that regard.
To me, that can not be understated as the need for his presence at times.

I don't know how anyone could think that hit was dirty. You could see Trouba get as low as he could. If he tried to get any lower to hit that midget he would have had to dive across the ice on his stomach.

I thought the refs actually have been pretty good this series. A few weird calls against both teams but overall I give them a solid B.

I think the Rangers are in the Canes players heads at this point now. Penalty killing being one of them.
