Somehow, even though I already consider the season a success, Tampa closing their series out makes me way more anxious about trying to get passed Carolina. Love seeing our squad prove to the haters that we belong!!

I know this will sound pessimistic, but with the rest Tampa is going to steamroll whoever comes out of this series.

Big debate then if that is the view, which likely is the case, is impact if winning this round. Do you want them to win and have a shot against Tampa, cognizant of probable result, or lose and have the second round pick that went to Winnipeg stay in that round? Because if they beat Carolina the second becomes a first.

I think you always want them to advance as far as possible. But first round pick is a big deal. That's a hard one.

Man to be the team that dethrones TB would be epic

9 days off could backfire. And we’d have home ice

Let's not dream too far too fast.

Big swing game tonight. Literally decides all momentum in the series.

But that was impressive. Tampa owned Florida in all aspects of the game for 4 straight games.

You wouldn't give up a first for a chance at the conference finals? Man I would take that 10 times out of 10

I don't care, make it to the final 4 you always have a chance. Next year isn't a given they will get close to being back here again

I see what is happening here. You still have that noose hanging up don't you? And you were denied a reason to use it on Sunday. And now you are itching for that reason and passively rooting against the Rangers.

How dare you.....

The confidence would be through the roof if we win this series and they would have a little thing they call home ice advantage

Rangers find a way to beat Carolina, what makes you think they won’t be able to find a way to make it a series against Tampa? Especially when you saw how they matched up against each other in the regular season. Vasy VS Igor would be something watch.

Going to the game tonight!!!

This series is so tight, teams pretty evenly matched but we have the better goalie so that could be a difference maker!!!

In the playoffs, the best revenge is winning the series!!! Not getting blood!! Save the blood extraction for next season!!!

JT Miller offer revealed:

“And that’s essentially what the Rangers had on the table. So from what we can gather, it was essentially, Nils Lundkvist, a first-round pick, and Filip Chytil. Now there was some talk about Kravstov, this and that, but it’s very evident — whether these pieces were all together or not — that the Rangers were not offering Braden Schneider.”

Which is exactly the deal we were hoping to make. I would have considered throwing in another prospect or a second rounder to try to swing it. But oh well.

I want this team to go as far as possible. Even if we beat Carolina and get swept by the Lightning, that experience is invaluable.

Speaking of first round picks. Florida gave Montreal an unprotected 2023 first round pick for Ben Chiarot

I haven’t been the biggest Justin Braun guy but I think he’s been about as good for us as Chiarot was for Florida

Especially since Florida is no longer playing.

Is Chiarot a FA now? They didn't do a signing after the trade, right?

Yep both Giroux and Chiarot are UFAs

I think they’ll probably keep Giroux though
