Carol Schram: Canucks hold 15th spot in 2022 Draft Lottery, Linus Karlsson to rep Sweden Not surprisingly, there was no change in the Vancouver Canucks' position after the 2022 NHL Draft Lottery went down on Tuesday. But another member of the organization got the nod to play for his country at the upcoming World Championship, with Linus Karlsson set to suit up for Sweden.

Thanks Carol,

I wouldn't be surprised to see JR & PA deal the 1st round pick this summer.

Thanks Carol!

I wouldn't be surprised to see JR & PA pick a really solid player with the 1st round pick this summer.

Thanks Carol.

Hope to see Korchinski or Pickering as part of Canucks prospect pool, unless they trade up and give the Canucks 1st + Rathbone, in order to select Jiricek or Nemec.

Thanks, Carol!

Kraken passing on Tarasenko was so silly. They were so poor offensively having they ignored all the star forwards.

And how about that Kaprizov!? What a beast! Shame he was the only one producing last night for the Wild.

For no reason I can recall I was keen on McGroarty in preseason. Still am as I picked him this draft last blog. I like everything about him with some concern about his skating. Taking the chance he’d iron out the skating bugs at UofM might be worth the risk. Others I’d like if available are Cutter or Chesley. More prospects are interesting but those 3 might be there.

Don’t see that happening. Why would they & for what?

Ryan Chesley, 6’ 194lb RHD:

The University of Minnesota commit was fantastic for the NTDP this season and reminds scouts of Ryan McDonagh thanks to his complete game and ability to do whatever his team needs at the time. Super-strong, too; he broke records in the NTDP gym

Unfortunately Canucks don't have any 2nd round picks.

I like him as well. Has similiar stats to what K'Andre Miller had and was more productive then Ryan Lindgren. Both have become very good NHL players. All situation players.

Allvin pretty correct past 4 its probably a pretty good toss up who is taken up to 15.

Gleb Trikozov if he is still there. 👍
Isaac Howard also.
Lekkermaki if he falls that far.

If any of those 3 fell. Hard to pass up IMO.

Yes that’s a bummer. Could change but not optimistic. Expecting hockey trades if anything but UFA’s seem a for sure. Buyouts too hard to say at this time..

I would do everything I could to get Jiricek, Nemec as a backup plan.
Jiricek I would take 1st overall. Kid is a true #1.

I luv both but the price would be too much imo.

I could live with Chesley especially if can get him on a trade down. Gain a sweetener. Then retool the RD a bit. Give Bones a spot if he’s healthy & a good camp. Plenty of O from D. Clean up the team D more for less pressure on Demko.

You give way to much credibility to the US program. Open your eyes and you will see.
