Yeah, Pete DeBoer seems a lot like Jon Cooper.

#22 having Lidstrom at least coaching the young Seider would be huge.

#2 Lehner at best moving forward will be a back up.

#26 Nothing about NYI, there should be a lot happening there over the summer.

I just find it fascinating that Josi almost has 100 points in a season...something that hasn't been done since 91-92.

I thought getting 70 some points was pretty impressive in the modern day.

It is a good thing Igor Shesterkin has played brilliantly this season.

He should been getting much more consideration for the Hart.

Is there an update on how Ek's projected standings are coming along. Spoiler alert. He predicted 19 games so far. Only 8 correct. Vegas was supposed to win 3 straight and make the playoffs. Oops. Carolina was supposed to end on a 3-game losing streak and get caught by NYR. Instead Carolina won 3 in a row to clinch 1st place. Dallas was supposed to miss the playoffs, but they clinched. Looking forward to playoff series predictions...

I’ll go out on the limb and say Shesterkin and Sorokin will be better than Price. Barring injury, I have no doubt they kin do it.

Is there any last day miracle scenario where the Islanders can still get in?

I meant as the goalie goes, so does the team.

Strange premise for #9, that Toronto not being able to win a cup since 67 is the tough teams they’ve faced individually. Especially when they still may not face that team in round 1 (as Toronto dresses a minimal lineup tonight vs. Boston…. Help Boston win?).

Even if you face Tampa, in order to be the best (Cup Champ), your team has to be the best.

They had Monteal and Columbus in last 2 years, right? Not exactly world beaters.

But will they be better than Richter? After all, not having him in the HHOF is a huge mistake.

Correction. Richter not being in the Hall of Fame is the BIGGEST mistake ever by the selection committee. After all, he came 3rd in Vezina voting once in his 12-year career and had a winning record 5 out of 12 years. I'm so convinced that I might boycott until Richter is in.

17. Florida’s key player for its Stanley Cup quest might be a player who isn’t currently playing for the team. Defenseman Aaron Ekblad hasn’t played since March 18 because of injury. He will be back for the playoffs.-Kev

It's just a coincidence according to Giroux and Chiarot.

2. The Wild give up the fewest high danger chances after the Bruins. That’s important to know going into the playoffs.

I’ve heard several pundits say that the Wild have the best tandem going into the playoffs. So why do the Wild goalies have such unimpressive numbers?

Kevin, you forgot to mention two other members of the Bordeleau family that played in the NHL. Paulin's brothers, Christian and JP, who played with St. Louis and Chicago respectively.

Are the Bordeleau's related to the Bordeau's? This is getting confusing.

Lou won’t do anything. He’s made minimal changes every year since he took Garth Snow’s average roster and handed it off to a great coach hoping for the best. Isles fans are done with Lou
