We need a top 6 forward, bottom 6 forward, a depth dman with size instead of Murray, and a "3rd string" goalie capable of coming into the playoffs if need be as an insurance policy. Clutterbuck would be a great addition for the bottom 6

All the things you mentioned have been a concern of mine for a few years. Yes this team has the best offense in the NHL, but as we know the playoffs are a different animal all together . Is this the team that gets our Avs past round 2 and beyond? I guess we will see what Joe does before/ at the deadline. Faceoffs are a big issue I think that needs to be addressed . Faceoffs are a big deal in any game but in the playoffs when you need a big win in the dot to gain possession of the puck it becomes the biggest part of the game . Watching Paul Stastny last night and they said He has is 62% on draws this year. Just sayin. I bet He would love to come back to Denver for a run with the boys . ( He can pot a goal or two as well as we saw last night ). We have some smallish forwards like TJ that I like but when it comes to those battles with big bodies for the puck in the corner with a guy like Maroon or Benn it's a tough sell. Same with the back end with Sammy G. I have stated before I am NOT a Girard fan and if He was a part of a deal I would be ok with that. One thing that has me baffled this year is turnovers. Not sure as I write this where Colorado ranks in turning the puck over , but I bet they are one of the worst in the NHL. And the ones that drive you nuts are the ones about 10 feet from their own blueline. " looks like an easy out.....ooops". Burakovsky loves that little diagonal pass from that spot towards center ice. I will refer you to game 5 last year. Period 3 Avs up 2-0. I think you all know what I am talking about . These pases can NOT be attempted in a playoff series that is tied 2-2, when you have a 2-0 lead in the third. That turnover changed the game and series . I watch every Avs game and He still makes those dangerous cross-seem passes when all He ( and the rest ) have to do is flip it out and reset. Sounds simple right? This team can try to be to fancy ( powerplay). Need bodies in front and shots.....lots of shots . Looking for a perfect play way too much. Don't get me wrong I love my Avs, I just worry more of the same will lead us with the same results . Lots of pressure on Joe and the team this playoff. Lets hope Joe makes the right moves and we are all at a Cup parade in June.

So... About that goalie issue being solved? Last few games are saying otherwise
