Only saw parts of the game cause I was called away, but seems like another sub par performance by Frost. He was a -2 on the night and won 2 of 8 faceoffs. Jerry Mayhew looks much better than him, but I didn't realize he was 30 years old. Frost actually had a hit tonight though!! Might as well lose 20 in a row!!

Frost has had several hits of late. Actually he was having a 2nd straight strong game but then had a turnover on a blind centering pass and then a delay of game penalty. A bad shift at an awful time. Isles' Parise scored a second or two after Frost exited the box. The other minus was on Dobson's point shot that cut the early Flyers lead to 2-1; Frost had nothing to do with that play, one way or the other.

Starting to research top 15 prospects over here in while still in January. As is tradition. Sigh.

I wish. We know they’ll find a way to win out the last 8-10 meaningless games.

This Frank Nazar kid looks pretty sick. Conor Geekie too.

Remember years and years ago during hexy era how I kept saying it was always a 10 year rebuild? And I got called crazy and no team or fan base would ever accept that? Are we seeing the picture now or nah? When you have no top prospects and bad nhl contracts to do rebuild properly it’s a 10 year process. Guess what…. We’re here again!!! Well almost. I’d say 7-8 years because we do at least have a few pieces and not completely saddled with tons of horrible contracts… YET. DO WE SEE JUST HOW BAD COOTS EXTENSION IS NOW? Hopefully fletch fired and new gm doesn’t sign risto long term.

At this point, to NOT make a coaching change, ship a player or two out, and begin the interview process for a new GM is negligent. In no way am I saying this organization & team can miraculously turn things around this season by doing one of or all of the above. IF the organization’s message to the players and fanbase is to ride out the season, in the hopes that it will improve the team’s draft position, it’s disgraceful. And for those posters on here too young to remember, Ed Snider actually CARED about the fans, and did ALL he could do in his power to assemble a coaching staff and players that fought (literally and figuratively) hard to win, as well as seethed after every loss. It’s what made the Flyers special. As currently assembled from top to bottom, this team, this organization is nothing special, and dam* near unwatchable.

I’ll also add this team will never get it. Corp run bottom line top priority. Status quo. Very predictable actually. We as fans ALWAYS look forward to positives and tend to put blinders on because that’s what fans do. Until a light switch goes off and you accept the status quo of flyers. Then you come to very predictable conclusions. They just aren’t worth it and you become casual fan. At least of flyers. Because when you watch other teams it’s so easy to get excited because played right it’s a very exciting sport. Then naturally while you still will occasionally watch some flyers action and you pay attention to daily happenings with the team you realize you’re watching more and more of the league and very very predictably you realize yourself rooting for real teams. Not this fake corp run bs team from philly. And you’ll be like GO CANES!!! Go avs!!! Go whoever. And that is so (frank)ing sad

I missed the game due to working late and family commitments. Can't wait to find out how bad Risto and MacEwen played. I'm sure having them in the lineup cost us the game.

It was an all around terrible effort. Jones did what he could but the rest of the team was flat save for a few good shifts from Mayhew.

They went 12 minutes without a shot in the 3rd. I wish I was joking.

Bill do you question his hockey IQ with the throw the puck in with the glove play? And attempt with a high stick I could call a reaction play but to just glove it doesn’t seem like a hockey players normal reaction.
I was hoping for more from him at this point especially the effort ( moving his feet) which was way better last game.

Hopefully one silver lining is that it'll hasten the poop-canning of that godawful goal song more sooner than later. I'm beginning to think even the players are sick of listening to it just after too few times.

13 game losing streak on the heels of a 10 game losing streak. An absolute farce.

Start listing the other teams in seasons that have done this type of horsepoop. It’s a complete disgrace. The butt of every joke, nothing more than punch lines.

Can’t wait to see the press conference when the stiff GM who ran the Wild into the ground for a decade makes excuse after excuse.

I had the game on and I still missed it. Hard to stay focused on it when they're so frustratingly dull and bad (the WFC crowd last night tend to agree, with all the empty seats). Heretic's not joking. 12 mins in the 3rd with no SOG.

Yep.

My mom got my fiancee a Flyers shirt (She's from The Desert, I'm from Da Area) and I damn near scolded her for buying an official NHL merchandise shirt.

She just didn't know.
