He had his follow up with doctors this week and has started skating and doing on-ice skills work. He will continue to be evaluated week-to-week.

Also, Ty Smith is out tonight.

Colton White recalled from taxi squad. Wish they would just leave him on the roster. I’d like to see what he can do with more consistent playing time. This season is in the toilet anyway. Let’s see White get in more games and get Holtz in some games with real linemates, no more of this 4th line minutes BS.

Agreed about White, and Walsh really needs to get a look here too. Especially with Dougie still likely out for the next month. Let him run the PP. For Holtz i would just stick him with Jack and Bratt and let that line ride out the rest of the season. I would also like Zetterlund to get an extended look too, but not on the 4th line.

Maybe roll out a top 9 of something like:

Holtz-Hughes-Bratt
Sharangovich-Hischier-Tatar
Johnsson-Mercer-Zetterlund

But our coaching staff will never do that because Zacha has apparently blackmailed someone into keeping him in the top 6.
