Still can't believe the Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson trade. I mean, that's ground for immediate firing on its own.

Lol Ryan, you are such a homer. "gorging on 29 year old Zach Hyman" You mean as opposed to paying the exact salary to 29 year old Jason Zucker for half his production? And calling out PPG RNH, and even Ceci (who has actually been one of our best D this year). Now if you mentioned Keith, you might have a clue. There are lots of flaws with the Oil, and you managed to point out exactly zero of them in your brutal take......kudos.

I see the Pens are bringing back the Diagonal Pittsburgh jersey. In black, at home.
UGH! I HATE THIS JERSEY! I do not want to emulate the New York Rangers in ANY WAY--except for maybe the amount of young talent they currently have.
I do NOT understand the love affair with this Jersey... And while Im at it, can we PLEASE go back to wearing white at home? I'm tired of only seeing black and white uniforms when I go to games... I miss the days of seeing Blackhawks and Wings in red, Maple Leafs in Blue etc...

He has called out Zucker several times, among other Penguins that have been deservedly ripped ( most recently Casey DeSmith).

I'm not so sure McDavid feels as (bad) strongly about, or getting out of, Edmonton as RW does...

I think 13 to 15 minutes is fairly typical for a 3rd pairing dman, no?
- Rinosaur

For most teams, no. For a Sully coached team, yes.

And point remains that they'd do well to give the third pair D more minutes and cut Letang's. I forget what the number was, maybe 24?, but Letang actually plays better when he plays a little less. When his minutes are too high, he gets tired and makes more mental errors. As his age increases, his ice time should start dropping so he's fresh all year.

So I'd consider upgrading Ruhwedel if it can be done affordably even though he isn't a problem.

I'm guessing you're like what, 16? 17?

The Oilers are in the top-five in worst run organizations in hockey. Everything that's occurred during the McDavid Era was self-inflicted by bad GMs. Clearly you don't read this blog... ever. RW is the furthest thing from a homer(he's a Sabres fan) and has far more negative takes on this team even when they're winning than positive.

I get it, you're a frustrated Oilers fan. Being frustrated doesn't change the reality that they've absolutely squandered opportunities to surround McDavid with team capable of contending. The truth hurts, we get it.

Bruh your team is run by Ken Holland. Outside of McDavid, Drai, and a few others your team is a poop show.

They actually had a chance this off-season to have a sort-of fresh start for the first time in years and while they made a couple of solid moves in Foegele and Hyman, overall they doubled down on stupid.

I agree with all this, plus what you said in the previous blog.

Yes, Ruhwedel is allowed to make the occasional bad play. He certainly isn't alone in how he played the Lucic goal, it happens too much on this team.

Ruhwedel is the clear number six on this team. Nobody, myself included, is upset with his play. If we want a better team, you know maybe win a playoff series, he is the low hanging fruit.

You’re an idiot.

Let’s not forget the ‘Lottery’ that was gifted to the Pens and speaking of comically bad… take a look at both the Pens Point Totals, pre Sid and Gino; and Game Attendance just to remind yourself just how pathetic Pitts was.

Lol… Jesus

I’m going to bet that if you were to remove the two top players and ‘a few others’ from any roster they’d likely be a ‘poop show’.
