The real head scratcher is why NHL teams prefer to stay in Manhattan instead of the beautiful city of Newark. After the 2.5 hour bus ride, one could say it was irresponsible of Ruff not to have his team take advantage of a team without a warmup. Life throws you some curves Lindy. Learn to roll with it. But it was a good game by both teams.

McLeod is thankful that the devil's claimed his friend Bastian

I really like Bastian's game. He has shown an opportunistic ability to score, and he will help the PK. Bastian with Wood and Mcleod are a physical line that spends most their time in the offensive zone, and on a great budget. The only sad thing is that we have glided through the expansion draft with embarrassing ease.

They tried being taking advantage but they aren’t very good
