I’m curious to know how Gio is doing this season.

Going to be a tough one tonight. They have been steady in racking up points and Freddy Andersen is giving them solid goaltending. A tough test but if they can keep building off last game I think they will be good. They have shown flashes and games like vs the Rangers where they really can be a damn hard team to play against.

Just pay attention to the details, watch the pinches and turnovers.

I like Bastian. Blackwell coming back and going on the wing really took his chance to get in right out. Especially with Appleton coming back. I think Bastian was far better than McCormick that is for sure.

Defence I still think Dunn can get it together. He can play really well then just bad pinch, or gets caught and it just always seems to be the mistake ending up in the net. I do like him on the PP but I think honestly he played his best with Fleury, not Soucy.

I have liked Gio for the most part but as a whole the team and Gio has struggled some. When they get locked in though, he has been solid. His leadership really comes through and I think that is the big thing there. Him and Oleksiak on top pairing hasn't been too bad really.

Great blocker save by Gru on early Carolina pressure. SO far not looking too bad. Holding their own so far.

Solid period just bad goal to give up. Couldn't get it out and through the screen to beat Gru.

Had our chances and playing well. Have to just stick with it and be careful not to over press. Wennberg got to that one puck which was fortunate cause it was a bad pinch and just out of reach from Carolina going the other way with numbers again.

Solid 20, still very much in this here. Not at all unhappy.

PHEW.... gave up the shorty 2 on 1 again but broke that one up at least.

Amazing pressure and HUGE shift by Blackwell-Geekie-Donskoi. Dunn on the point was smart with that puck and kept it going too. Fantastic effort and huge shift for momentum right there!

Very solid 40 minutes. Very happy how they are going. Minor chances given up that are dangerous but for once haven't buried them and gone in the back of the net. Guys are really playing well tonight once again and Gru looks dialed in.

Two huge wins. Two solid team performances. Everybody contributing to the cause. Fewer turnovers. Gru stepping it up. Lets go Kraken!

Bastian claimed off waivers going back to New Jersey.

Had a feeling he wasnt going to clear at all. Might have been better ditching McCormick down honestly.

Still couple solid wins and team playing well. If we can generate some wins and points should be able to get out of the cellar past Vancouver easy enough.

Team blocked a high of 20 shots vs Canes

Now they just have to do it all over again vs Tampa Bay and Florida. Going to be a tough couple games but if they can continue to play with the attention to detail and focus of past couple games, they might surprise and get some points here. Fingers crossed.

Gru is in tonight. So would say safe bet Driedger is in vs Panthers tomorrow.

Ouch 3-0 shutout loss. Tough one but no Gio was a blow and just couldn’t generate chances with traffic in front of Vas. Played hard, ground it out but just nothing going right and no puck luck breaks either.
