The Wild were horrible in the 1st period but marginally better in the 3rd. An 0 for 6 on the PP and almost all perimeter play on the 5 on 3 doomed them. Dumba killed them with that disaster at the end of the 2nd. Gaffe a game Dumba had a similar gaffe in the 3rd period the night before but Kauhkonen made a great stop to bail him out. He’s a high risk player and his situational awareness is lacking. Dumba has been this way his whole career so at this point it is what it is.

Wes diarrhea Walz was at It again last night, Early In the second period Walz suggested that Foligno find a dance partner so that the Wild can regain some momentum, Walz then said Vegas doesn't really have any tough guys, Wwwhhaaaatttt? Perhaps Walz doesn't really do any pregame homework or Isn't aware that Vegas Is much tougher than the Wild, Vegas Has Roy, Kolesar, Carrier, Hague, That's quite a group of tough guys, But Walz Isn't really very good at what he does.

The Flyers waived Aube-Kubel today, The Wild should certainly consider picking him up, We aren't very tough or hard to play against.

Aube-Kubel may be the only NHL player worse than Rask. Everybody on the Flyer thread is trashing him. He moves the needle downward. Hard pass.

I don’t know if Guerin is looking to add anyone with the team winning. If he wants to add grit then it would probably be by trade and it’s tough because of cap. Guys with grit who can contribute offensively come at a premium. Aube Kubel brings no offense and takes bad penalties. The guys getting waived this year are being waived for a reason. I guess a team could get lucky if someone needs to dump salary and waive someone serviceable but I haven’t seen anything yet. Wild are healthy so if they add someone it will probably be from Iowa. But things could change, I guess.
